So it is not like anywhere else where you are giving a general time of when you are picking it up. They expect you to be there at 10 or 11 at the latest. So even if your flight is late, too bad, so sad.

She ended up having to make me a new reservation that cost me 500 reais more than the original that I made months ago! That is some major bullshit there. And also looking at the contract, I was reminded of something I learned years before in Salvador. Here, you have to return a car clean. If not, then you are charged a cleaning fee. So on the 23rd before I turn this machine in, I have to find a car wash or have an additional charge of 85-150 reais in addition to the 500 I am already getting fucked for..[/QUOTE]Is it true in Goiania the ratio from male to female is hugely more females? While we're all waiting for this to pass I've been checking future flights and hotels. The best value I've seen was using miles on American Airlines. I started weeks ago checking fares and I got a fair rate using miles, it has even gone lower since I booked to levels I've never seen before. Same for hotels, rates I have never seen before, I also booked a great rate for a future trip. All bookings are flexible so am able to cancel just in case.

EUR 45 / USD 50 per night at Mercure SP Times Square, with flexible rate. Usually it's like EUR 70-80. Of course, at the same time the Real has gone down, which helps, but I have never seen prices like this.

I'm still waiting for the flights to go down. Economy class prices are quite cheap, but business class prices are at the same level (from Europe) as before and I haven't seen any offers yet.

He has all the official documents and all of being married, a resident, etc and they still almost sent him home he said.

He was kept for a few hours in immigration until his wife came and showed her documents as well and claimed him, LOL.

Not sure if that’s the norm now.

Doesn’t seem wise to fly in now.

[/QUOTE]Yeah, Spidey, this all happened after I got my ticket to Brazil. There are no travel restrictions there. It is $400 for a ticket from Miami to Sao Paulo now. Chicas are telling me that a lot is closed, but they are desperate and hard up for cash. American Airlines has tickets going for $500 which included one suitcase. I jumped on that deal.

I wish Colombia was open, but we will see how things are in Sao Paulo now. It should be fun and you got to love the exchange rate and now needing no visa.

First I have booked a flight to Rio June 3 rd, but my flight was cancelled so I have booked another flight to Rio September 9th, maybe it will be possible I think It will be difficult to go to Brasil for the next 3 months
