At the other hand there are some small incentives here and there not big things but we keep positive.

It is a project from the Netherlands with the cooperation of Curacao administration, local police and the local church to keep prostitution regulated, safe and in one place. The project is already 60 years old and is a great success. With the exception of the Campo. Prostitution has been almost completely eliminated from the island. New Campo price $ 42 is still OK (eg. Tijuana Mexico $ 60 - $ 80 girl and $ 15 for room / 30 min.) or Amsterdam 50 Euros = $ 55 . I'm going back in January as usual for a week.

-Taxi to and back from Campo (25 usd+25 usd?) or rented car (60 usd / day?) - Never read about someone walking or being able to take public transport there.

-Hotel prices (High).

-Price for food. (Need to eat something).

Add all these costs together and then split the total on how many girls you actually do have sex with. Then Add the cost for each girl and their tip on top of that, and you know the true cost per girl. (And that is from a p4 p travel perspective).

Why this post?

Because another island like SXM, might have a lower total cost per girl, even if the SXM prices from the girls them self are higher.

Or, If you go to Sousa, you have cheap food, cheap (er) lodging, about the same cost for women, but no cost for taxi to get to / from the premise.

Every man has to calculate how he is willing to spend his own economical resources the best way, and what is giving the best lifestyle and best lasting memories.

Just a friendly advice for anyone trying to escape sexprison and getting the most bang for the buck.

However don't loose the whole picture guys. More than 70% of Campo's revenue comes from the locals. While some travelers come along once in the while with their strong currencies in USD or Euro, it will be just a grain of sand to cover the expenses of running such a brothel like Campo. Bottom line that's why it still important to keep it attractive for the local folks as well.

Obviously is a problem if the price goes up from 50 to 75 florin for local guys. - Or maybe to introduce a system of two prices? At the entrance security will determine who is local and who is a tourist. Local guys gets a different color bracelets and pays 50 florin and tourist different color bracelets and pays 75 florin?

Not on the air ticket and car rental. For example, I rent rooms in an apartment but not in a large hotel. The room has air condition, TV, shower (no hot water), toilet, kitchen and all the pots and cutlery. Price around USD75 / night. The day I'm on the Mambo beach and in the evening in Campo. I can not complain, great vacation better like Ashley Madison! .

Back in 2014 I went to Campo, by that time I was new in the island, did not know about this forum and I learned the hard way, including the $40 history and all that. Now I will come back on October and there is something I would like to confirm with you if you know about it.

-During the day in my last visit I was having some lunch in the little restaurant next to the club, and I was talking to a friendly DR. I saw a guy that just arrived to the place with his suitcases, I then asked to the lady, can he do that? Do what? Can he bring his luggage and state here, she said of course, probably he'll leave tomorrow.

He just pay for the room and stay here until tomorrow that he leave. There are plenty of empty rooms and they wanted to rent them as well. I said, that's good, I paid for a room in my hotel and I am spending all day here, I will do that next time.

Have any of you don't this before? Do you know how much is to spend the night there? Of course I need to take my connection next day and I wanted to have some fun then go to sleep like a child so I can wake up early and go to the airport, Also I will be leaving the car I rent in the parking lot if that is not a problem.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It's a pity Campo do not respond to inquiries about this. It surely would be interesting to have an update.

I have no personal experience but copy some dated reports by a couple of Campo vets confirming that this has been done in the past. It indicates a price of $100/ night some years ago.

You can also spend the night with a chica in her room at probably a lower price if you play your cards right (have your fun first, and then reach an agreement with a chica at say 2 am, maybe avoiding the most popular ones) and inform Security about your plans (unless you want to freak them out/NOT a good idea).

I was on the island for the weekend. First of foremost looks like most chicas agreed to the 50 guilders price since most locals won't pay more LOL. Walk everywhere in campo checkout all the rooms.

Take some notes which room red lights are on and which not (most of the times constant red light means she is worth it).

After you took notes of the girls check how long they stay in room and who there costumers are.

If a chica ignore / reject locals, I won't trust her, she is probably looking for some rookie tourist which she will overcharge. I have seen that happened with a friend of mine but he didn't gave a fuck because the chica was smoking hot and doesn't matter what she charged it was still cheaper than in his home country.

Last year in early September I have seen a chica overcharging tourist and ignoring locals but after a week when most tourist left the island because they were there for the North Sea Jazz Festival she had to lower her price and went hunting back for locals. Some won't hunt for locals they will probably find a tourist baller or she will leave campo because no income means you can't pay rent and you will get deported.

So how (if at all) has the scene changed? Are there fewer local men in Campo now? Or (as someone mentioned below) the price hike has not had a lot of effect, and the girls are still accepting 50?

As long as the new pricing has brought in more talent, I do not mind the extra 25 guilders.
