South Pacific Hotel on Morrison Hill Rd (near Happy Valley. Talk about a perfect name LOL) is OK, rooms are comfortable but smallish, no problem to bring girls in with you, no problem for them to come up to your room on their own.

HK$600 'ish /nite except during the bigger fairs. I have had a suite several times for HK$1K which is great!

7/11 store 2 mins walk should you need supplies. Min Fare HK$18 cab ride from Jaffe or Lockhart.

Less than 10 mins walk to Times Square.

She knew me from Laguna, but one day saw her in MTR. So we chatted then went for a drink in Causeway Bay in bar close to my hotel.

Was thinking that maybe I could get an unusual score when the phone rang with some boss emergency and had to go back to room for some long involved email. She didn't want to wait. Ah well. I'm sure a few guys will remember the said lady. Cutest of the Laguna ladies from 3 years or so back.

Here is my 2 cents worth: I went to Laguna last weekend, I already had a few so my judgment was affected. I bought a drink and started chatting with this waitress I know, after couple of minutes she says "will you buy me a drink"? Well, I chat with her every time I go there, so I thought ... hell, why not? So she had a shot, and ... well, nothing wrong with that, but I never had a waitress ask me for a drink. They are either looking to extract max. amount of money from customers, or she is hinting that she wants to make money on a side. Well, she is not that cute, so I wouldn't pursue it.

Not a big deal, but I thought I would share.

I mean, it's not like I don't know that there is money that comes back to the girls. Hell, that's why I buy the drinks, but what is this with the 'no tip for me' bull sh*t?

Was at Makati earlier on and the manager there bought drinks for me, again because I was there for a while, was a steady drinker, and was entertaining some people. God, if only I could get the people from Laguna to switch to Makati on a regular basis. Hell of a lot better place!

I had an overnight in HK. With a bit of time to spare and a nice evening, I decided to check out the local 141 scene a bit. I typically stay on HK island, this hop stop I was in Tsim Sha Tsui, close to the China ferry bld. I searched over the 141 site to find a good selection at Hankow apts, just a few blocks over.

I had a bit of a strange initial experience. I don't much like the street touts trying to sell copy watches, suits, and such. I'd just arrived at the right address and some Indian looking fellow with wild hair walked in behind me. He chatted a bit as I hit the elevator button. I told him repeatedly I was not interested in what he was selling. I got in the elevator and to my surprise, so did he. Up to the 6th floor and he stepped out after me. Ok. This is getting strange. I figured he was going to press his way into a few bucks one way or another.

I rang miss Coco's bell and just as she opened the door, Mr strange started to barge in talking in Cantonese. Ah ha. I see the angle. He was selling his services as my guide for the evening, asking miss Coco for 200. I stepped in and shut the door behind me. You could see the little creep in the video camera standing at the door. After a few minutes he actually rang the bell again. Pissed me off. I stepped out and asked him to translate one more item. Beat it. And he left.

Anyway. On to Coco. She looks like the photos on the website. A few years older my guess. I'd say she's 30ish, perhaps more. Still a great body. Enhanced boobs and that flat Chinese butt. Good hairy muff. Anyway, she seemed nice enough, invited me into the shower and off we went.

About the only thing I don't care for much about the 141 scene is it's all done in a bit of a rush. There's a smile there and a bit of grace to it all, but little time to relax before or after.

The other nit. I think the phone rang 2 times and she did watch TV a bit during the BBJ.

Good thing is the price/performance is not all that bad if you're simply looking for a quick bang. I suppose it's perfect for the local gents that only have 30 min for lunch and want to catch some tail with time left over for a bite to eat before heading back to work.

Summary. 141 is a sure and quick thing. The ladies I've visited are all nice enough physically. The price tag aint all that bad. And she'll leave you out the door freshly showered in 15 minutes or less.

Miss Coco. If she didn't rush things and would have offered something other than BBJ to covered Mission, I'd be a more frequent visitor to this establishment. Another nit. If you're much over 6', you'll likely find the confines of their little rooms a bit tight.

Looks. 7. Likely a bit nicer when the photos on the website were taken 5-10 years back Service. 5. Basic service Attitude. 5. A bit too rushed for my taste Convenience. 9. You just have to be able to read a map a little and 141 is right around every corner in HK.

Okay, so I finally arrived in Hong Kong and decided to head for Wan Chai. I almost regret it. Headed to Laguna at about 9:30 PM where I met this Filipino in her own little black dress. Simply amazing! There was no other way to describe it.

We danced for a bit and then the question of a lady drink came up. No longer thinking with my big head anymore, I agreed. 80 HKD down the drain (including tip for the waitress). She was served something with whipped cream on top the looked kind of weird, but I don't know any better. Anyway, it seemed that she was working at the bar and kept trying to pawn me off on one of her friends (not my type. A bit overweight).

At one point she encouraged me to try the drink, funny looking into those eyes of hers, the warning bells of taking something from somebody else in a foreign bar in a foreign country, just weren't going off. It didn't taste like just whipped cream. Anyway, I asked her about leaving and she told me that her manager wouldn't let her leave yet.

It couldn't be possible could it. Not this level of cruelty? I was with one of the hottest girls and she flat out said "no." Not willing to be beaten on my first attempt, I asked her about tomorrow. She agreed. Just call anytime and here's the phone number. I left at about 10: 30.

Now the question to the group is: Has this ever happened to anybody before and does the guy ever get the girl? ! ?

BTW, On a side note, it's been two and a half hours after seeing her and my heart is still racing. And no, it's not love. It feels like I've consumed a case of Red Bull. Could it be related to the lady drink or the enormous amount of walking to get from Wan Chai back to my hotel?

I go to China often and have experienced the high end KTV scene in shanghai, zhuhai and also in macau.

I've been to some lower end places in mong kok. I wandered into a club in tst called club bboss or something like that. Very gaudy and totally empty.

My question for you guys is. Are there any nice places on Hong Kong side with quality girls? Would prefer someone where takeout is guaranteed. I've heard of some wanchai places but don't know the names or locations.

Any help would be appreciated.

Don't be offended but she's telling you, you are a putz.

HK$1,000 might be nothing to some but pissing away what she probably makes in 2-3 days lowers you in her eyes immeasureably. Added to this the race thing - she's probably Chinese/Nepalese (with ID/permit) and the lady-drinks are for Filipinas (14-day visitors).

I have also seen a Sri Lankan waiter treat a slightly drunk Undersecretary in the Ministry of Finance in Oman with absolute contempt several times in an evening of playing pool, drinking and old boys' networking.

I was planning to use hk141 hotel reservation services on my next trip to HK but a post below in this thread had me wondering: do we need to go to the girl's hotel or do they come to our hotel ? What find of long time prices are to be expected ?

Besides where can I get an english user friendly listing of saunas with the adresses ?

there could be many reasons for this. she could be a newbie and trying to get comfortable with the scene. she could be waiting for a special friend. or she could be on the rag, or maybe she was one of these girls that prefer making money on drinks instead and not entertaining the idea of going out. or she could be under the direction of her manager. you can try calling her to see if you can get a late afternoon tryst.

the next time you are in laguna and if you see something you like, before you buy any drinks, ask her whether she is only there for drinks or whether she goes out. if she goes out, then strike a deal, and take her out then and there, to a normal bar like spicy fingers for example or the bars around the right corner from laguna, where its quieter and enjoy yourself and away from her friends and there are no ladies drinks. what you save in ladies drinks you can add to her tip it the end.

as for your speedy feeling, did you at any time in the evening leave your drink unattended? it could be a combination of things or the heat.

In the first instance, it was a girl who worked behind the bar at the opposite side of where I was sitting, and as you know, it can be crowded and in the light would be impossible to see across the bar. The second woman didn't work either bar but was a waitress, hence wouldn't have been involved in either set of drinks. Additionally, I saw both ladies getting passed their chits during the first encounters with them.

I think what you're telling me is you think I'm a putz for spending a grand on drinks, which is fine. As they say, opinions are like atssholes. Everyone's got one.
