Just as big of a mistake to think that you took care of it and let it mature imo.

Research data shows its effective. Also its a safe antibiotic for long term use as its been used a anti malarial prophylactic for many years. Been working for me. Before I used to do 1 g Azithromycin at the end of a trip. Now I switched to Doxy because I read that its more effective.
What do you think Doxy treats? BACTERIAL INFECTIONS. Look up what it treats. Are these bacterial infections that it treats exclusive to gay men? Come on. Yes I have been to the Abbey in West Hollywood and the advert posters are certainly targeting the gay population because they are more reckless. But the CDC recommends it for all people.

I've been in this hobby for about ten years and been with more women than I can remember. Other than women I was in long-term relationships with, I used a condom for vaginal sex (but never oral sex) with all but four women. I never got a std when I was using a condom. Here is my lesson: these diseases are real and they are out there. There are pros and cons of taking doxycycline as a form of prep. Any antibiotic will wreck havoc to your gut biome, especially if taken long-term. That's why it gives you diarrhea. The safest bet is to use a condom unless you and your partner have a recent test. There are horror stories out there of drug resistant bacteria, but it isn't as common as it seems. It all really comes down to what risks you are willing to take. I like creampies as much as the next guy, but I'the rather stay healthy and enjoy BBFS with the two women I'm building a life with and keep them healthy as well and not worry about that.
That said, most Filipinas have an aversion to condoms. I've only been with one that insisted on using a condom. Most are adverse to using it, and one even removed it while we were fucking without me noticing and claimed later it was because she wanted to feel me closer inside. It's hot as hell, to be honest, but not what I wanted before being with my wife.

I suppose everyone's situation is different and how well we know our girls and what they get up to when we're not around.
This is only my experience, but a friend who recently tried her luck working in AC took me for a walk past her check-up clinic, and from what she said, it was "like a factory" and just a process.
As for me, I'm fit and fifty and on a few drugs due to a leg operation a year ago and have to be careful what I mix with them. Vitamin V was actually prescribed to lower the blood pressure at one stage. Although I found it pretty amazing, it's no longer required, but I'd advise getting advice if you're mixing drugs.
Personally, I've never heard of Doxy, so thanks guys.
The issue of STD's has been around long before the AIDS crisis years ago and will continue to do so.
I think many older guys just think "Fuck it, I'm having the time of my life and we'll deal with that shit if it happens".
But it's one thing definitely to keep mindful of.

I hate condoms and I'd rather not even have sex than use one. Hell a nice lubed handjob feels better to me. For me the risk is worth the reward, especially if I can mitigate it up to 80% via pharmaceuticals. He said the only way to go for a non diagnosed empiric treatment, will be to take all of them at once, and he doesn't recommend that at all. After visiting a clinic, I ended up getting treated with something totally different: a single shot injection with something similar to the old penicillin.

That is what is supposed to happen. At the same time, the law also says no barfines allowed.
So if you believe the law is enforced, there are no barfines allowed in bars because there is no prostitution permitted.
Or do you believe that one part of the law is strictly followed and enforced and the other is just ignored.
Or perhaps both parts are generally ignored which would be more consistent.
