So many girls have tats I would prefer they did not. Some have piercings. Ring through nose is the worst as reminds me of a buffalo. Hundreds of girls are unnecessarily getting braces on the teeth. There are only a couple of hundred places in Bangkok that fit this description. Read the threads. Or just walk around. Your odds are better for GFE if you hook up with a woman who speaks a bit of English, and there is no shortage of candidates in the Sukhumvit area. If you don't want to jump through hoops, like at a go go, then try oil massage, be nice to the lady, and pay repeat visits. Btw, Nataree, which you've already tried, and Ratchadapisek Road in general is one of the last places I'd go if GFE were high on my list, so don't get discouraged.

For example from Costa Rica to Panama, prices range from $40 to $100 based on location / quality and if you are in a place like Del Rey vs. A MP. And then then Colombia is roughly 75% of the equivalent costs. The mansion girls charging $70-ish and even a top end girl at Fase2 or whatever (a playboy-model type, which is my type) is under $100.

After reading about 10 pages of posts, it seems like the prices in Thai are actually higher. 5,000 bht is like $150. Even at the lower end of 2,000, that is $60. I think I was just expecting to be in the range of $20-30 for a nice MP and then $80-$90 for the top end girls. I guess that's not the case at all. My.

I don't know that anything will "replace" the go-go bars, I suspect they will simply cease to exist and the scene will revert to a much more "Asian flavor" scene. The days of rich Americans throwing money around are long gone. They've been replaced by rich Asians, often Chinese. I think that the go-gos that remain will cater to the Japanese trade. You'll see more karaoke bars. Maybe even more massage places. Much of the rest of the scene will go "underground. " By that I mean venues a bit like Biergarten, or other freelance-style venues. Above all, for the independent freelancers, I think the Internet will be the place to meet customers. The Thais are daffy about social media apps, and this certainly appears to be the trend. It's much easier to sit on your ass at home, or someplace, and chat with potential customers than it is to sit on your ass in a go-go bar for 12 hours.

So, that's my prognostication, and it's worth roughly what you paid for it. :D

Those days are gone. Between Thailand's demographic shift and loads of overpaying punters, the scene has changed. A lot.

I will point out that a high-end MP was never in the $20 - $30 range. You could generally expect to drop at least $100, often more if you like the "model" variety. However, these days, a go-go short-time quickie can easily run in the $100 range, so suddenly a couple hours in a soapie don't look so bad.

I have 2 months to go spend somewhere and this is not at all what I was hoping for. I was probably living in dreamland. I am so incredibly sick of $100 attitude girls here in Latin america, I just want to go somewhere in the world where there are still good deals and fun to be had. 26 hours on a plane and $1400 for a ticket for that type of budget is just not worth it.

I don't even know which country to start looking at to find the place I'm looking for. Probably it's back to Medellin for me. I want to cry.

I have a question that isn't discussed too often here. I will be in Bangkok with some business clients and I want to get some information of the high end places in Bangkok. I know La Belle and maybe Emporium are said to be high end but I was wondering if there are others. I am talking about top of the line luxury spas with dedication to ultimate luxury, where a lot of thought has been put into the decor of the place and of course not forgetting a quality lineup.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Patpong has not disappeared. It has become a night market with a few GoGos around. Having been a resident for 15 years I can tell you the overall demographics are changing and that is overall for all tourists, and I am not just talking P4 P entertainment areas. Yes, there are lots of Chinese tourists, but very few are mongering. They have plenty of that in their country and it is not expensive like it is in Japan and Korea. Japanese expats was out number expats from any other nation. A quick look at the statistics for work permits issues will tell you that. The number of young Japanese mongers is also quite high. Hit Thermae lately? Lots of young dudes in there. Contrast that with many of the young Western hipster expats who are very turned off by mongering.

Bangkok is a very dynamic city. There have been more changes here in the last 15 years than most American cities have seen in triple that time. What I am saying is don't think the scene will be the same forever. It will change. Let me remind you that in Manila most all the GoGo bars were closed by one mayor and the Western entertainment areas were shut in Seoul overnight as well. Cowboy will not be there forever.
