The walking in El Centro is good. I got up to an average of almost 10 miles per day, although that was spread out all over the city. If you have time between all your girls and your dental work, you might want to widen your walking range. I've made about a dozen trips to Medellin over the past 5 years and the scene seems to be getting increasingly dry. I'm wondering if others are experiencing the same thing. The casas (energy, new life etc.) seem to be getting worse and worse with talent. And even the high-end clubs (fase dos / la isla) seem to be struggling to produce a quality lineup these days. Or perhaps I'm just getting unlucky as I understand timing is everything and results vary from night to night. I'm hoping somebody can cheer me up and say that they've enjoyed the scene recently. I'm wondering if the cam model madness is poaching all the talent away. But I remember 5 years ago all of the aforementioned venues were abundant with talent. Whereas now it's just slim pickings. I love Medellin, the culture, the vibe. It's a great city to be in. But has the mongering scene been downgraded to where it's washed?
