I remember the fingerprint thing when I used to travel here as a visitor back in the day. I think a lot of people use ATMs now so that kind of stuff might not be much of an issue. The tourism thing can go both ways but it is definitely noticeable. I even see a lot of broke gringos trying to make money here by doing things like being street entertainers or posting everything related to MDE on Youtube in hopes of getting a following.

It did not start out to be promising as all the phones were dark when I began to Whatsapp the chicas. These chicas must use separate phones when they are working. I just can't imagine a chica not connected to a phone 24/7 in this day and age. I may not have enough imagination.

I have had whatsapp since it existed and never have I bothered to or would know how to look at anybody's status or know if someone's phone was dark. What would that have to do with anything?
