Honestly I would get married if I lived there. I never once felt like I was in danger or any of that shit. Stay out of the high crime areas and you'll be alright. If the place looks sketchy, stay away simple as that. Use common sense and quit being paranoid. Enjoy yourselves.

Oh one more thing. The casinos I checked out in El Poblado were weak if you're used to Biloxi or Vegas style shit. It's a place to hang out for a little bit to kill time. I did not see any working girls there.
