And in FL's case I really do not get it. He definitely knows better. He showed me a picture of the beautiful girlfriend he had in Bangkok that was not a hooker. I said man you are lucky. Often the simplest solution is the most accurate, to a conundrum. I propose that the beautiful "girlfriend" was not actual GF but a girl FL wanted as a GF. Truth is what normal (non bargirl) beautiful lady wants to be seen with a man in his 80's who cannot provide constant economic, emotional and physical support. Like Dr House, says "everybody lies" and most often people lie to themselves for example saying they prefer fuglies or women in their late 30's, but in truth they know they cannot access the 20 yrs old with any measure of success ie reasonable attitude and reasonable price, so to cushion their egos, they tell themselves they not interested in 20 yrs old with model bodies.

We don't know how well or how badly this non-pro "GF" of his treats him, we can only know how "secret" treated him, but I'd bet it would have been much worse. Sure FL is a silly old fool, but I can't see him being so stupid as to run from a beautiful non pro GF into the arms of a 30+yr old damaged bargirl.

I would have blown Secret off long before the story reached this point. I've never dated a Thai bar girl, seldom even do overnights with them. There are plenty of "good" Thai girls to date.

The story does feel a bit like "Private Dancer". If there is anybody on this forum who hasn't read "Private Dancer", I recommend it. Author is Stephen Leather and you can search around for a free *.pdf download. It's very light reading.

It would be interesting if he were critiquing his actions and not hers. What he did wrong and not a about whether she was going to eventually scam him. He's an old guy with money and she's a young woman with youth and maybe beauty, God forbid if she wants some of his money. I really enjoyed his posts back in the day too. Now he just seems like a guy using someone and a bit of a scum bag.

That is just a running joke. It was his actual normal girlfriend. He would travel with her and everything. He even made several reports about her here. When he showed me the picture I was like fuck Pattaya. I would be in Bangkok with that chick right now.

Easy for me to say though. I would have just fucked it up as usual. When I first started going to Pattaya (2006) I had a normal girlfriend that was a school teacher. She also worked at that Adidas store on Walking Street. A couple of years later she was going to come to the USA as a nanny and wanted me to help her with the essay. Well she made it. But when she got here she never had time for me. Eventually she married a guy and they have 2 kids now. Well she obviously had time for somebody. She would never tell me what went wrong.

Yesterday I was going through all the electronic pictures on my external hard drive and put the few that I took of her on my phone and sent them to her today in Line. She said wow I can not believe you still have those. I told her of course I do because I really cared about her. She finally told me what went wrong. She said she was sorry that she did not see she meant a lot to me. She thought I had a lot of girls. Well both things were actually true.

And I would say that hookers have treated me a lot better, and I've had much better experiences with them than with regular women.

And I'm not talking about just having sex. I'm talking about dating and having long-term relationships.

I suppose, to each his own. You might've had better experiences with regular women. So, this works for you, and that's what you should go for.

My advice is not to pre-judge people before you know them. And you don't really know what's right for you, until you try and explore a variety of situations and people. Because what works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another. You need to find out what works for you personally, rather than for someone else.

I have met FL a few times. But I am going strictly by the reports he has posted here, not anything else. He always wrote highly of the chick that was not a hooker, but complains about the one that is a hooker. It was never the hooker does everything just right. From the beginning it has been why doesn't she do this, why doesn't she do that. My question is why are you into her like that if she never seems to do things that you like.
