Hi all,I have been in BKK for a couple of days now, and owe the community a first report.Immigration at BKK was an experience, topped, in the negative sense, only by LAX and possibly JFK, although I have not had that honour for some time now, and it probably gotten worse. It's not that the officers are unfriendly or aloof, but there are just not enough of them. Just imagine two or three 747s arriving more or less at the same time and 5 (five!) brave defenders of Thai territorial rights, armed with rubber stamps and passport shredding staplers, up against 1000+ PAX. Others have reported similar experiences recently.But then, why hurry the immigration procedure, if, after the 50 minutes it took, there was still a full 5 minute wait before the luggage appeared on the belt! In 'Old Europe' we are still somewhat spoiled in thar respect, altough we are catching up fast!To get rid of the frustration, I visited Akane Fahion on Soi 33 that evening. They like their girls to be available in the shop. The most travelling they are going to do during their shift is to go from One Akane Place to the Other.Although the place opens at 12 noon, Akane Girls start work at 10am, to ensure the place is clean (that's what some girls told me).They all finish their shift at midnight and can decide then, to meet up with customers or not. I had one very good experience here and one mediocre. The first day I went on a Saturday and chose May. This girl is many guy's young Thai girl fantasy.
