Wondering if anyone can help.

Planning a trip next week for my birthday, Jan 26th onwards. I was wondering if anyone knows anything similar to Blackbeards in any other countries? Namely South East Asian countries or possibly Brazil / Colombia. Maybe even India? Though my very recently ex long time girlfriend is Brazilian. So I could probably do with something new LOL.

Not Germany, as it will be too cold. I am looking for a beach and other things to do, but the Blackbeards set up is appealing as I do not have endless days to hunt, which gets quite boring when you're on your own anyway. Nothing worse than walking up and down to the same spots without a plan, seeing talent that you're not interested in and going home empty handed. Especially on ones birthday!

You can RTFF all day and night, but as this could be any country in any part of the globe it is difficult to know where to start. I have been reading hours upon hours but can't quite seem to find anywhere of a similar nature. I'm sure some vets could offer up some advice. I may just end up going to Blackbeards, but it would be nice to try somewhere different as I have done DR now, and I am trying to visit as many different countries (and flavors) as possible before I do repeat trips.

They supposedly have some girls on site. It's officially called Hotel Medellin Plaza now. I'm at BB next week for the Super Bowl and I wanted something new to try too since I've had many trips to the DR. Look in the Medellin section of this site.

Women on site and like minded guys there who may be able to help you out if you don't see something you like.

Big fan of BlackBeards here having gone 10 times so far. My usual BB's wings and I just got back from our 2nd trip to the Mansion last week. Don't get me wrong, we'll be coming back to BB's but the Mansion in MDE and also El Campo Alegre in Curucao are the only other places in the western hemisphere that compare in some fashion to BB's. BB's is in a class all by itself but the Mansion has its advantages. My full trip report is in the Colombia: "Medellin" and "photo gallery" threads. Also read "Casa Blanca" (old name for the Mansion) thread. Enjoy the pics. Geo.

Thanks in advance.[/QUOTE]There is a beautiful beach 5 minute walk from Blackbeard. Costombar Beach. On the beach are a few places to eat and drink. One of our favorite places to eat while in town is "The Catermaran. " An Austria expat by the name Paul runs the place and his wife does the cooking. It is located at the far west end of the beach. He has beach chairs you can use for free.

Not familiar with Asia but Costa Rica has some good places. San Jose has hotels La Amistad and The Sportsmen Lodge both about a 2 minute walk apart. La Amistad offers a decent "all inclusive" all you can eat / drink and is guest friendly and the Sportsmen lets the chicas enter on their own whereas La Amistad doesn't but you can escort them in. For a beach scene the whole monger world knows about Hotel Cocal at Jaco Beach. Just read those threads in the CR section and you'll be good to go. The beach is a dump at Cartagena, CO. Read that thread for info on the scene there.

Stayed at Sportsman lodge and its cool, but HLH or zone blue as it is called is the best kept secret there if its still open. The girls there are more reasonable and give the guests house discounts. Now for the bad part: The girls at Del Rey and other spots want cash up front, do condom blow jobs and rarely do TLN. They say "cien" before they give you their name. Now you are prepared for CR.

Maybe you don't see that many people swimming is because there aren't that many people there during the middle of the week. I would estimate that beach is a mile from one end to the other and you may only see 50 people . I've seen many locals in the water though . There are two young boys I see go out and spear fish and lobster in the reef right there. The reef is teeming with life. Lots of cool stuff to see!

I figured although the set up may not be exactly like Blackbeards, it was just something I had to cross off my bucket list! Couldn't think of any place better than the beach in Rio with a couple lovely chicas to spend my birthday LOL. With enough beers and girls I will create my own 'mini Blackbeards' at the spot where I am sitting.
