Even though it has been discussed in detail in the past, they tend to get buried and hard for the newbie to find. Having a thread dedicated to the various hotels should be of great help for newbies and FF alike due to normal changes in hotels.
What do you guys think ? Every month people are asking about Hotels. I think it would improve the TJ forum. We title the reports with the hotel name and then describe rates, location, conditions,pro and cons.

I was on Constitucion, west side, mid-way up the block south-bound between the callejon and Art 123. Near the entrance to the parking garage and the entrance to the Rio Nilo hotel.
Didn't get a look at them (there were 2 as far as I could tell) as they took off very quickly. One was 5' 8"-ish, thin, wearing a green military-style fatigue cap. The other a bit shorter, non-descript vertical-striped button-down shirt, dark jeans. I only saw their backs.

Well worth walking around and exploring for your first time. You also have the casino and the daytime is best for massage. Depending on your weekend, bullfights. Daytime is the best time to scope out the paraditas. You might find one to act as a tour guide/companion for you.
Use the daytime to get familiar with the area. Between massages,eating (try the ice cream) casino,scoping tourist area`and paraditas , your dance card should be full. There is a mall with theater (cab ride).
Morning all! Thought I'd drop in a report of my first ever night in TJ:
Am staying at the Zaragoza hotel in TJ, as recommended in Brockton's guide. Perfectly fine, wireless internet, good food in the cafe, AC etc.
I hit Adelitas first, at around 10pm. Its not what I'm used to. My experience extends to either furtive state side stuff, or Thailand style bars where I'm frequently the only John, and I rarely see locals in the same establishments as me. The Johns also outnumbered the girls. Probably around 40 girls. Lots of silicon. some girls with truly epic sized chests (made mental note to self to try out some of these fun bags later).
I drank a beer and wondered around, but I'm used to the girls jumping all over me. Here it seemed clear that I'd have to walk over to get the ball rolling, so I left to check out Hong Kong.
The jacuzzi's were going and some girls were soaping each other up. Walked around for a few minutes, the girls can be pretty here, but, as you've all told me, it was no comparison to Adelitas. I doubt it. Unless the girl knows you very well or you pay her very well she's not about to leave her post and hang out with you unless it's to go to the hotel. She has her income and perhaps a padrote to worry about.

You're doing OK. The only constructive criticism I can offer is to pay less.
Stick to $50 US. It's a buyer's market. If you use pesos you'll do better. Stick to around 600p. Hours should be no more than 1000 pesos, about $75.
The girls in the puta bars in most Latin American countries expect the guys to make the first move.

If all are offering $60 then that tells you business is not that great, so offer lower always.
Pecos will save you a lot of money. From what I read on your TR, you would have saved over $50 USD. The more you spend ,the more you save. Remember it is not a direct exchange, you actually get charged less. Plus it takes some of the touristy look away from you which means even better prices.:)

I will get at least 3 pops and a companion / translator / ghost buyer / tour guide. Best deal (I believe) in TJ.
Those chicas get prices I could not come close to getting. Chicas love to shop and do not enjoy standing around the zona. They are happy,I am happy. Win- Win.
I remember I wanted a blanket for a loved one and the guy wanted $35 dollars for the one I wanted. The best I could talk him do to was $20 so I walked away.
