Race-baiting has been the first and favorite method of choice for Repub candidate presidential runs since Nixon and Lee Atwater created their Party's "Southern Strategy." It was fully embraced and exploited by every Repub candidate since Ford, from Reagan to Trump.

2) The greater metropolitan areas with different mayors around most big blue cities in big blue states are also likely to be Dems. I guarantee you it is a much harder job to be Mayor of Chicago than a Senator of Nebraska. Repubs being by nature deadbeats would not likely choose the former over the latter.

3) 18% of the country votes for some 52% of Congress. Outlaw gerrymandering, set the number of Senate seats by population instead of by square miles of empty space between State border lines, dump the racist origin Electoral College system and we would never see a Repub president, a Repub-controlled House or Senate or therefore a Great Repub Crash and Depression/Recession again. Then we can start getting things done with our tax dollars that the vast majority of Americans want done.

There is no reason for comparatively desolate states like the two Dakota territories to have FOUR Senators, TWICE as many votes in the Senate as a real state like California. Wyoming has only marginally more ordinary citizens living in that state as they have elected officials in the House and Senate!
