Medellin Reports

My experience and that of many of my friends is that Facebook girls are extraordinarily unreliable. Part of this is just Colombian culture where punctuality a normative value.

If you set a cita for 2 PM understand the chica may show anytime between 1:30 PM and 4 PM or later. You have about a 15% chance of an absolute no show. Girls will regularly lie and say they are on the road when they are not. I always tell them to message me when they get in the taxi so I can be ready for them. Sometimes I ask them to send me a google maps live location link but many won't sometimes claiming data limitations. I have had girls send me photos of themselves in taxis to show up with different clothes. I have had girls tell me it took over two hours to get from Bello to Poblado when I can see on Google Maps it is 40 minutes, though real traffic delays are normal. Many of my regular girls have had the experience of showing up at my place to find me gone and a note in their messenger that I got tired of waiting and left. One girl getting a 2nd chance (because she was just great in bed) showed up two hours late the 2nd time and forgot her cita. Remember these are usually not the girls who could have gone to medical school but decided to be prepagos instead. I suspect I am an outlier as I know most guys will sit all afternoon with their thumbs up their asses waiting. On a six week trip I'm usually a once a day guy, so I often try to make my dates for early afternoon before lunch. If a girl is very late I go get lunch and start looking for an alternate. I seem to remember someone posting their experience with FB girl was that they where mostly punctual. I have also seen the roulette wheel land on black 10 times in a row but would not call that normal. My observation is from over a dozen trips to MDE and that of many friends.

On the plus side if I give those Chicas a second chance they or often (but not always) more punctual with me. My trips are now 4 to 6 weeks in length, just forgetting about a late or now show and doing something else is fine with me.

Nobody said the house was paid off and she got it free and clear. She might have still had 98% of the payments left. I was married 2 years and my wife already had a house. For the time that I lived there I was entitled to part of the equity that had accrued during that period. Everything depends on the laws of particular states and what the individuals work out. So yes it is possible for someone married a short time to get a house.

I have never ever been charged an entry fee at Luna Lunera. There are two sides to every story. The catch in my case is I don't go there to hang out or to drink. When they ask if I want a drink I say no, let me see the girls (presentation). If I see one I like, I go with her. If I don't see one I like, I kick rocks.

There is no wrong or right way to do this. This is a great report because it lays out the costs factually. But it left out the option to avoid overpriced drinks and pointless entry fees.

But there are some things you can do to improve your results (that is, of course, if timeliness means a lot to you).

The first thing I would recommend is try staying somewhere else other than El Poblado. Poblado is in the corner pocket of Medellin and there aren't any freeways that loop around the city. Girls coming from Bello are going.

To be late as hell and traffic will be bad. My first trip to Medellin, I stayed in a nice little hotel in Poblado. Every Facebook date arrived late, later, or latest. Now you would think that these girls would have made that trip.

By taxi a hundred times and would have a sense of how long it would take but you would be wrong. They are messaging friends and other potential dates and they don't even notice how long it takes.

So, why do I think this? The next couple of trips to Medellin, I stayed in Laureles on or close to La Setenta which is a pretty busy commercial street. How did my arrival times compare at those locations? The girls were universally on time or only a few minutes late. I think the latest one was 1/2 hour late and she apologized saying here baby sitter didn't arrive on time. You will find that the traffic is much less congested from the NW barrios to Laureles.

Another thing you could do is use the phrase "a tiempo" which means "on time" with emphasis. They don't use terms like 3:00 o'clock sharp or on the dot or anything like that.

My last suggestion is what seems to be a standard method for getting things done in SA. Bribe Them!! Tell your girly that if she gets there within 15 minutes before or after the date time you're going to add 20 mil to her pay.

Tell her it won't matter to you if the cab gets lost or he took a wrong turn or there was an accident the bonus only counts if she arrives +/- 15 minutes.

Now as to 'ghosting', most girls will not do that. They want to give you an excuse and maybe reschedule the date. Why would they do that? Well, it won't be the excuse they give you "Oh, amor, my mother broke a nail and I have to stay with her through it all" it will most likely be that you offered her 150 mil and cabfare and while she was getting ready someone else offered her 200 mil and cabfare. Or maybe it was her regular from Florida just got in and he wants her for toda la noche. So she is going to make an excuse and try to get you on a different day. Completely no showing happens (of course) but most girls realize that burns the bridge and there won't be a later date after that.
