No, the hot massage girl won't provide sex for 300 baht. Without the extra fee (the 1000 baht wrongly-called "tip" she will only do the half-arsed regular massage and be very unhappy about it. The fact that the fee isn't posted and is subject to bargaining only increases the hassle factor, it does not indicate that it's even theoretically optional (as a proper tip must be).

I get great service, especially from my regulars and have never paid more than the required fee.

And then if you tip one girl one amount and another a different amount, they will talk and there will be hard feeling. Those places are fixed price for a reason. Because they are Asian style, originally catering to Japanese customers who do not tip, so it is an all inclusive price. Tipping there is akin to tipping the guy that fixes your washing machine. Which brings me to another point. Want good service? Then the experience needs to be nice for the provider as well. How can we aid in that? Simple. Keep yourself in shape. No one wants to sleep with a fat slob. Keep your body toned and stay slim. Be well groomed. Keep your pubes trimmed or shaved and if you like to be rimmed shave that keister hair. Would you want to lick a gals hairy dingleberry laden chocolate starfish? Shower before you go. Dress presentably. Ditch the cargo shorts, Red Bull T-Shirt, and flip flops. Learn to speak a bit of Thai. Joke with the gals in their own language. Suprisingly few oily girls speak good English. You want a GFE or a PSE, try you best to get the gal into it. Pay some attention to her. Munch that box. Most of all, treat her with respect as you would your GF, a woman you work with, etc. But never forget, this is her job.

Both, Baccaras, BKK and Pattaya allow Indians so that is good.

An excellent description of how a monger should prepare himself and act. It's really very simple. You expect the lady to be clean and present herself in a certain manner. Well so should you. Likewise, you expect to have fun. So make it fun for the lady too.

Frankly, I do tend to tip good service. But not always. For example, BKKMick and I pay a flat amount when we hook up with a bunch of ladies for one of our orgies; but in addition to the fee for service we treat them to a fun night out with plenty of food, booze, music and fun.

I'm willing to bet given a choice between a client who is well groomed, in reasonable shape, does his part to make the session session, but leaves no tip, and an abusive slob who leaves a tip, most ladies would prefer the former over the latter.

I will be in Bangkok in a couple of weeks, with just one day / night in the city before a week in a remote location with little action according to the postings.

I will be at the Amari for the one night and then back for four nights before heading home and am looking for suggestions as to how to best take advantage of my first day.

After afternoon massage I went to sleep and woke up 9 pm. Entered NEP with friends to one go-go bar. Had some drinks but left after some time and thought to visit Soi Cow boy by walk.

I liked Soi Cow boy place better than NEP. Whole street is full of bars, chicks.
