I've seen tourists who get nervous walking around Laureles in the middle of the afternoon.

I took an Uber to Barra Ejecutiva at about 11 pm. Had him drop me off a block away and walked down. Then I hung around outside for 25 minutes waiting for another guy to show up. I felt safe. At around 12:30 I walked outside, joked with the doorman for a few minutes and flagged down a Taxi. I still felt safe.

I've been to MDE a few times but never really went outside of mansion except for the normal new life and casa run. I did go to (MYA RISTA) I'm pretty sure I am spelling that wrong. That had a very Tijuana feel to it. Is Mya Rista in el Centro? Or are these two separate parts? This trip I plan to venture out more. I do like to go eat and hang in Parque Llares but I never picked up a chick there. Is that a good spot or should I just head to Central? Also, If I venture down to Central, what is a good starting point there?

I think you mean Mayorista. And its not in el Centro. Its pretty much west directly west of el poblado. You can definitely pick up chicks in Parque LLeras. At least you could when I was last there about 2 or 3 years ago. Someone else whose been there more recently might have more insight into recent changes.

I'm not saying there is anything trashy about these chicks, but ThadMax said it best: "A lot of GND types. But no real stunners." Dude these are just normal everyday chicks in Colombia. Maybe inside of your neighborhood, but there is nothing "high profile" or "of this quality" about them in a Medellin setting.

Occasionally, I find some hot girl in casa or massage places. What are the stunner that you prefer to? 8+ type girls (natural, enhance, etc.) But then again beauty is in the eye of beholder. As long as the girls are up to your standard then that's all that's matter.

To get there take the Metro south (Niquia is the north end, Las Estrellas is the south) to Ayura station. After you come up the stairs and exit, turn left. You'll go through a few blocks that might look scary to you. Lots of street vendors. Just keep walking west, past the gas station. When you get to the casino "Paraguas", you've arrived. Mayorista is located in Itagui.

El Centro is north from El Poblado and the Mansion. You'll probably want to take a taxi. Tell them Plaza Botero. If you're feeling cheap and adventurous hop on one of the yellow buses going north. I think they're 2200 pesos now. You'll need to pay attention. I usually get off around Parque San Antonio, but you'll probably want to go a few blocks further. Just push the button by the rear door when you want the driver to stop.

You can pick up girls around Parque Lleras, but you'll pay a premium. The selection is very slim until after 10 pm. You can often find girls in the various clubs. Prices start high and go up to ridiculous. Some are scammers. I remember one cute girl trying to talk me into a 3 some and the other one certainly looked like a trannie.

Honestly, your best bet, if you're staying at the Mansion, is to get Facebook info from the girls there. Then mine their friend lists for more girls. You're paying more to stay there. You may as well get the most out of it.

If you want to venture out more, which is a good thing, I recommend using the Metro. You can hop on a bus along Avenida Poblado, going north to Parque Poblado. Get off and go down the hill on Calle 10. That will take you to the Poblado station. Go north (north, and, Niquia, remember) to Parque Berrio. This is your starting point.

Exit the station into the plaza area. There will be a big crowd of people. You're going to need to get used to them, because you'll find lots of people in El Centro. If you find yourself in an area with very few people, you're in the wrong place at the wrong time. Find a clear spot on the steps and sit down.

After a few minutes you'll realize they're just normal people, going about their business. There are girls with Thermos selling tinto (coffee) and there are people talking. Once you recognize it's not a dangerous mob of criminals, it's time to take a walk.

Walk down the steps and head north. You'll see a pink Flamingo store to the right. Ahead, to the left is the Palace of Culture. You can't miss it. It's built from alternating dark and light gray blocks. Turn left, cross under the Metro and walk west. The palace will be on your right, a line of shops on the left. You are entering the south end of Plaza Botero.

Walk around Plaza Botero. Admire the statues. Admire the women. Look for some landmarks. The first one is an old, white church, Iglesia Veracruz. It's at the southwest corner of Plaza Botero. The other landmark is the Museum of Antioquia which is western border or the plaza, along the northern half.

Before you venture further it's time for a warning. Your phone should be kept in your front pants pocket. Your money should be in the other front pants pocket. Do not let anyone grab ahold of you, put their arms around you or get too close. Some of the working girls, especially the trannies, can be aggressive. If someone reaches for you, block them with your hand and say "no. " Usually that's enough.

Now comes the scary part (for some people). Alongside the church is a walking street. Head west alongside the church. Stay to the middle or the left. The trannies usually lineup against the side of the church. At the corner you'll see several working girls. To the left (south) is a casino. Just past the casino there may be some girls sitting in a stairway. You won't find much else in that direction.

Head north. Both sides of the street are lined with working girls. Some might call to you, some will click their tongues at you. Continue north until you come to a big opening on the right. This will take you back to Plaza Botero.

If you're not ready to run back to the Mansion, start expanding your walk. There's plenty to see.

Let's say I want to bring a girl from Medellin to the beach (Cartagena, Santa Marta). I'm going to pay for all the expense (hotel, food, etc). I guess I also have to pay her as well. I just want to know what is a fair deal? We might go for couple days or a week. I know there are girls at the beach, I'm just wondering what it cost to being my own chica. Thanks.

Unless you just pick up some random chick and decide to take her, which could turn into a disaster. Most would recommend you get to know a chick before doing that. This would give you more insight of what to give her based on other encounters you have had with her. Personally I would say free is a fair deal since she is getting a free vacation.
