Papaguyo is a "ladies bar", girls are there to drink and talk. If they go out that's cool, but I, in many attempts, have yet to get one out. Not saying they won't go, just I have had -0- luck in doing so. If they were El Encanto girls, why would they be in the bar and not upstairs where more money is?

So they did knock Hollywood down. That's what I was thinking, when I looked for it. They can knock down every club in that Mariscal area, and I still don't think they will be able to get rid of all the hookers in that area. Wishful thinking on their part. I did walk past Alice & Charlies, and some dude was sitting by the front door, keeping an eye on things. When I walked past him, he wouldn't smile, or welcome me into the club. I was wondering if he was some kind of low-level cartel guy keeping an eye out on how much business the club was doing. That's just speculation on my part. I had no desire to go inside this club, especially after seeing this thuggy looking hoodlum keeping an eye on the front door.

If Felinas cuts me short on my time, I won't hang with them for long. I'll just take all my business to Genesis. Both of these MP's will have to screw me around, before I go to the $40 MP's.

I thought that maybe they were just taking a break in the bar, and would head back upstairs when they got done with their break. I can now see that this isn't the case. They don't work at El Encanto. Juarez trip report for Fri. 3-5-10 1pm to 6pm.

Okay, I hit Juarez today, and got with 3 girls. Two from Felinas, and one from Genesis. I had a good time with all three. They all tried to please me, and I was happy with that.

I'll see how that feels. Maybe a little safer than Guerrero. To get back and forth from Felinas, to Genesis, I just walk on Guerrero.

It's not really stringing you along as long as you know what it is when you walk in. Like BBond said - it's a "Ladies Bar". Anything that might come out of it will be between you and "her" in a "normal fashion". You never know - you might hit it off with one that would enjoy a nice dinner and spending some after-hours time with you. But it's typically not what those types of bars are about.

It's also a nice joint to relax in after a nice steak at El Herraderros after a few MP sessions before heading back to Villa Manport, if you stay the night.

Stanton St. bridge vs. Santa Fe St. bridge. - safety

When I walked across the Stanton St. bridge this week around 1pm, there wasn't much people traffic walking across. As I walked through the gated area on the Mexico side, there were about 4 soldiers you had to walk past to get into Mexico. I felt vunerable to possibly being robbed by these soldiers, because not many people were around. They didn't rob me, but from now on I'm just going to cross on the Santa Fe St. bridge. Beginning this year, Juarez (and other areas) will be changing the clock to match us:

In response to a request from the citizens of some cities located on the Northern Mexico’s border the Mexican government has announced a new start and end date for the DST Schedule for 10 cities. The new dates will affect the following areas:

1) Tijuana and Mexicali, located in Baja California;
2) Juarez and Ojinaga, located Chihuahua;
3) Acuña and Piedras Negras, located in Coahuila;
4) Anahuac, located in Nuevo León;
5) Nuevo Laredo, Reynosa and Matamoros, located in Tamaulipas

The new DST schedule for these areas will be the following:

1) Daylight Saving Time begins on the second Sunday of March at 2:00AM.
2) Daylight Saving Time ends on the first Sunday of November at 2:00AM
