Thai local gogo bar adventure in Suthisan, Chat (shop name)
There are many Thai style gogo bars in Suthisan near Saphan Kwai station. I have been there before last time might be 5-6 years ago. I with 3 more friends were in BKK for a weekend, they wanted to see something different so we went. The taxi from Asok to here about 100 bahts. We went in many shops and there were really crowded with almost all Thai customers. First we went to place called Rainbow (no relation to Rainbow in Nana) but too crowded so we walked around and went to placed called Chat. It was also crowded, but we found a table.
The system in this area is about the same, you order drinks, they will bring you drinks, but also comes snack plates, wet towels, ice bucket, ect ect, all cost extra, I see all customers take them so we did not refuse. There were several dancers on stage, and the waiters would take girls to different tables and ask you want lady. If you see a lady you like, you take her, you will be charged a sitting fee 200, I think you don't need to order drinks for lady, but our ladies did order some cokes.
I was really tired, because I was acting as translator, my friends speak zero word of Thai, there were some better looking girls, but were all taken already with Thai customers, and also a few girls refused to come because 3 of my friends could not speak a word of Thai, so we ended up taking sort of left over to sit with us.
If you don't speak fluent Thai, it's very hard to have fun, since all girls speak nearly zero English and waiters and mamasans also speak no English, with girls sitting without any conversation is not too much fun.
But there is lap dance time, the girl get on your lap and do a song of lap dance, you pay her 100 baht tip, I asked my girl which was not too attractive about going to hotel, she said it's 2000 include room. I later changed another sitting girl, but this one looked good on stage but close look wasn't too pretty, and my friends were getting bored because they did not want to take out their girls, we left chat and look for next shop.
Approximate money spent per person in my case, drinks 450+girl sitting fee 200 x2+lap dance tip 100 x2, about 1050 for 1 hour.

After Chat we walked around went in look a few places, a place called For You saw 2 nice tall dancers walking out with some Thai mafia looking guy and got into his Benz, we went in and look but was also very crowded with only 2 girls dancing and rest of them sitting already. We went to T-ded.
It was huge bar with multi dance stages. Was also crowded we took a seat, and I tip a waiter to bring me nice ladies.
He brought me a few a time, I think the best ones were gone or already with customers, so we compromised, after a few rounds, we each pick a lady, the level sitting with us was so so, other table's girls always look better, maybe it's dark, the further you get the better you look.
The time was late, so I communicated directly to the 4 girls, my friends want take out, they only do short time, no such thing as LT in Suthisan, they can take us to ST room across the street, all include 2000, by that time I was tired acting and talking all night as interpreter, I just wanted to get a girl and relax.
So my cost for the session, drinks 300 each person, girl sitting 200, ST 2000, tip to waiter 100.
My observation, the girls here are generally younger than Nana or Cowboy but not as playful. Its more like a coyote, they don't dress too sexy. There are some cute girls but majority are mediocre. They do not speak any English so if you cannot speak fluent Thai, you may be ignored by girls or waiters. This place cater to Thais, so don't expect wild sex, it is mostly a straight forward boom boom missionary ST go home place.
If you come, as a foreigner do not behave wildly, do not touch the girls if they refuse, there are lots of Thai thuggish looking guys working in this area, they are more than ready to gang on you if you behave crazy.
All the girls were polite, but not as playful as Cowboy, some girls look hard for take out, some girls don't care much for take out, seems like many are contended with all the sitting fees and lap dance tips.
It's nice change of scenery, but it is not as cheap as you think, for a ST, I think all the things you spend add up close to 2500-3000 up for a ST. Not much different from tourist place. And the best girls are probably taken by these Thai regulars or rich Thai guys who spread tips to everyone.
