As BB has said, many are taking trips to Phuket / Samui / Krabi and living in Bangkok somewhere in nice condos. Some are back at home building their Isaan mansions and are just not anywhere close to wanting to come back to Pattaya yet for what's left of the paying crowd. Sponsors are continuing to send them money either through wanting to help them through this situation or because they are total fools (take your pick) and I suspect many will never come back to the city again. This is not all despair though, if and when Pattaya should rise again, new ones will take their place by the busload, but if you were looking for the same stunners from 2019, good chance that they will be gone for a very long time.

I was in PinUp on Saturday night, a lot more customers than during the week. I suspect that some come down from Bangkok. Windmill was actually crowded, almost couldn't find a seat for myself and my two ladies.

It was my first time at PinUp and I had a good time. I think that night, the ratio of girls to guys seemed right. There was enough guys there where it didn't make you seem like the only target for those many girls on stage. And there were plenty of girls where you should be able to find one that is attractive and to your personal taste.

Trafficking from adjoining countries goes on and seedy brothels can be found mostly in border towns but girls working the expat / tourist end in the major cities are by and large independents. Girls gain and lose sponsors over time. Some sponsors lose their disposable cash over time or figure out the girl is playing them or become smitten with a different girl. Some sponsors haven't seen their girls in over a year.
