Airbnb restrictions are nothing new.
It's been this way for years. Plenty of hosts say no guests. Sometimes, a respectful message is all that's needed to get an exception, other times nothing you say will change their mind. Most apartments in large cities are listed by agents anyway, and there isn't much flexibility when the owners tells them no guests. I remember once, the host said no guests, but I booked it anyway (it's not a deal breaker for me, and the price was excellent). So I'm checking in with the security, and two gringos come in, girls in tow, and he just winks at them. Never had a problem with bringing girls during that stay. I've also stayed in no-guest hotels and apartments. With all the options Rio has to offer, that's no big deal.

I stayed for over a week at Hotel Nacional. The property has 5-star potential, but is let down by its sloppy local management. Nevertheless, it's good value for money, 10 minutes from the Rocinha subway station (which is really important for daytime mongering and touristy stuff, otherwise you'll leave precious money and lifetime in Uber cars) and right at Sao Conrado beach, which is quiet and safe. It is not girlfriendly. Joiner fee is 200 BRL, which might still be worth it if you get a good deal and don't like Brazil's Airbnb offerings. I had a good time there.
Fun:
Don't shit where you eat. I did my business outside. Much has been written on this forum, so here's my personal observations:
- Prive: No. 1 for best sex at the lowest cost. Senior researcher Dr. Vagabundo is certainly right here. It's simple psychology: The places open during daytime, the customers are sober, and the women feel safe at their 9-5 office, which makes for a consistently passionate service and GFE if you treat them well. Plus, you have the economic scaling effects of an established address. Money & safety = happiness. I didn't do it myself, but I reckon BBFS is on the table for a fee at Centro Prives, though maybe not Copacabana ones. I thought the prettier ones work at Copacapana. Prives are where Rio really shines. Walk in at any time of the day, pick your girl, and have pornstar-like sex for 40 USD / HR. Prives should be the bread and butter business for a Rio mongerer.
- Clubs or Termas: I only went to Perola Negra. The girl incl. Room was 750, plus 60 something for a bottle of water. I paid just as much for a 90-minute threesome with two gparena girls that made Brazzers look like a meditation event. On average, Termas girls might be a bit younger and slightly prettier compared to Prives, though some of the girls I saw at PN were hideous. My girl squirted 3 times during the deed, and back in my home country I would have called it a good service. For Brazil, however it was average at best. I didn't like the business-vibes, and she didn't really like kissing. With the lights on in the room, she didn't look so much better than your above-average Prive girl, albeit a couple of years younger.
Yes, the whole club-experience was fun. Termas seem good for the overall experience, but relatively overpriced and average when it comes to sex. I recommend you go there once or twice upon arrival, just for the "Brazil-experience". Plus, if you're lucky, you'll pick a good girl to meet outside.
- Online acompanhantes: You usually contact them via WhatsApp and visit them at their apartment. My advice: Pay a few bucks for a Fatalmodel Premium monthly subscription and filter for girls that already have at least 5+ reviews, better 10+. You can filter for location, height, weight, English etc. You're paying for her apartment, so prices are in between Prives and Termas. Gparena is an even better source for reviews, but it will require a lot more reading than Fatalmodel Premium. I met most girls from here as it allows me to choose variety. Slim / curvy / fitness, tall / short, natural / silicone, black / brown / white, young / MILF, you name it. New day, new appetite.
