If your into "hotties" that can be found at the upper scale clubs and casa's, you will be very disappointed with what is available the majority of the time in the Parque Botero area, aka "ground zero" in El Centro. There are some exceptions of course, but you have to spend a lot of time there to reap its rewards. The El Centro street scene is for locals with it being a low budget venue. My guess is that over 90% of the members on this board wouldn't and / or couldn't partake in the SW scene there. Some guys like myself swear by the place, however we are in the minority. It's worth a visit though, just go to the Intersection of Calle 53 and Carrera 53 around 4 PM in the afternoon and park yourself nearby and take it all in.

I can go on and on and on about Centro. Every day I find something new that I like, even if it is not available (some girls really do not work and will not budge, it doesn't matter how many pesos you have). Tonight I sessioned a White Vennie with the biggest Asset you could imagine on a white girl. I sessioned her the previous night and was not happy, but she took my number and decided that she would make it up to me and boy did she ever. I meet guys every day that come to Centro and they have in their mind that the maximum amount of pesos they will spend is 30-40 mil. You can find a girl for that and you can get your rocks off for that amount, but trust me, you won't get the service that you are looking for or thank that you are receiving from the high price girls of Poblado and Park lleras.
I have sat around Parque Botero for a month, and I can tell you that there are far more diamonds than there are Fluggies, and they know that they are diamonds, I talk to them all day long and I also hang with a group of Vennies that will talk to them for me if need be, these girls are not dumb, just desperate and in a desperate situation. The really pretty slinder Vennies are tasked with the job of making sure that they bring home the most pesos for the least amount of sexual activity. The younger and the prettier the Vennie is, the older the customer she is looking for, the older women have taught them that this is the way that you preserve yourself and stay out here longer. I know personally a group of 18 yr old Vennies that will not see a monger under 55 yrs old or older, unless they receive permission from the older Vennie women, how do I know? Because I have asked the older Vennie women and I sit around them every day.
If you want the really pretty Vennie girls you have to build a report with them and they know that you are willing to spend more than 30 to 40 mil. Every now and then you may find one that is willing to go with you for 40 mil because she is hungry and hasn't ate in 3 days and is in need of food. Yes I have seen this event daily in Centro. I have developed a saying about the Vennies, If only I had the pride that the Vennies have, they will go days without food and liquids just to not beg for anything. I have seen over a 100 pregnant Vennies in the Park over the last week and many of them are in the 8 month of pregnancy and look as though they are only 3 months pregnant. Lack of food and missing meal will guarantee that the babies will have low birth rate. I can name numerous tragedies that I see daily in Centro, but I am really numb to it, because I have a history similar to what I have witnessed in Park Botero.
I came to Colombia this time for Dental Surgery and the surgery exceeded my expectations. I have a smile out of this world and I no longer worry about a co-worker or client complaining about my appearance, but America is a different can of worms. Without a doubt, my dental problem has been fixed; it comes with ups and downs. I had a little infection and the antibiotics are brutal to my system but hopefully, the small infection is healed by the time I leave and can focus on work and planning on returning in Feb to install the rest of my teeth after my implants heal. I was giving an estimate for my teeth, and after returning here, and realizing that I needed a few root canals and posts, the dentist still honored the written estimate and the cost of my procedure was $6,000,000 pesos more than the written estimate. Here's a note, get a written estimate before you have work done, these Dr's will honor the estimate, and I really appreciated that business approach.
Back to the girls of Centro and Park Botero, depending on what you are looking for and the amount of time you have, you can find anything in Centro that you can find in Poblado. A wealthy neighborhood does not guarantee a wholesome girl, just as a grimy neighborhood does not guarantee that the girl will be filthy and diseased ridden. Many mongers truly believe that if they only monger in Poblado they will not have any risk of contamination from girls in Parque Lleras and Gustos, but to each their own. If you know you are looking for and what you specifically want, there are girls in the park who can really help you locate what you want for a small fee of 10-15 mil pesos, but that's up to you. I have developed a system where I have a nice vennie stop by every morning at 6 am, another stops by at 9 am, I catch another hottie around 12 pm, then I rest up and wait for the 4 pm—5:30 pm rush and just wait around to see what diamond wants to spend some time with me. It's all about what you as a person want and what you are looking for, I have a wide variety of what I like, so I keep many girls around to feed my needs. I'll post a few pics just to show you what diamonds are in Centro if you have the patience to wait around. I have so much more to write about, but the WiFi is hit or miss at this location. Pollo negro is out!

El Centro and Mayorista have rooms for under 20 k, but you'll spend the savings on taxis. However, if you're making multiple daily visits to motels, Suite 44 may offer you a daily rate. Some of the love motels have an overnight rate, especially during the week.

To each their own, but if you can't blow $50 mil /$14 usd on a short term hotel, Centro is where you should be, it amazes me how mongers are on a budget in a country that's on a budget. These happened in the last couple of days.
Someone tapped my shoulder around noon in Plaza Botero. I turned around to see a nervous pretty women speaking to me in Spanish. She showed me a photo of her and a man on her phone. I think she was asking if I knew the man. I said no, she showed me more photos and used the translator on her phone to communicate with me. The problem was that there were misspelled words, like 'a' is spelled as 'ah', so the translator did not work. I managed to grasp what she was saying. I asked if she was telling me that she loves the man but the man is angry at her. She said yes. I said why didn't you talk to him? She said he wouldn't talk to her. The suddenly she ran away like she saw a ghost. Nothing on me was stolen.
I saw a man help out a girl and the girl was in tear after accepting the gift. I have nothing but respect for this person.
I ate at the street food carts at the edge of Plaza Botero often. I heard a woman yelling as I was walking toward the coffee cart after dinner. I turned around and it was the food cart owner. I thought I did not pay her for dinner so I walked back to figure out what was it about. She pointed a finger at herself saying "yo" and then to me "te quires". I knew what it meant literally but did not get it and was confused by the use of quires, instead of quiero. A customer who knew some English told me "She love you". Everybody burst into laughter.
