Goodbye Angeles
Time for this old trooper to saddle up. And ride off into the sunset. My experience has been almost totally with non P4 ps. Ageing American butterflies should leave the breakfast waitresses alone as they can smell your partners a mile off. The motorbikes, dog shit and holes in the sidewalks are major turn offs. Getting to the end here without breaking an ankle is an achievement to be proud of. I have been hit on in Balibago early morning by countless hookers in their down time. Ditto around the hygiene centre behind Johnnys. I can't really see why guys settle here. The hookers are a turn off, the heat is uncomfortable and the question as to how to kill time and squander your life away arises.
There are quite a few white foreigners here who have lost their marbles and many others just shuffle along. I am sure there are scammers galore in their midst. I get the attraction of bonking dozens of LBFMs but that is past tense for me. I have a nice girl but their lives are physically hard. There are nice women here but they deserve better. I am not sure if I will be back as coming here, being here and leaving here are all chores.

However, some years ago, in Midnight Cowboy I saw quite a few White expats in their 70's and up having a great time dancing with their Filipina wives in theirs 50's. I couldn't help thinking they had a much better life than most of their fellow age people back in the US. If you retire in AC as a permanent sexpat, its probably a sad miserable existence. But if you manage to find a decent partner and live a more "normal" life, its not that bad compared to the alternative I suppose. As with everything in life, it is what you make of it.
Hey Folks, new to the Int forums but regular on the US site. Trying to read up as much as possible. Going to Tokyo in March and have a few days to monger at the end of my trip. There are great cheap non stops to both Manila and Angeles. Any recommendations for a first timer to Phils between the two on a short (2-3 day) trip? Primary goal is mongering. Don't plan on sight seeing on such a short itinerary. Any advise would be helpful. Previous mongering experience in Tijuana and BKK so not new but alot of conflicting opinions so trying to get some updated recommendations. Cheers folks! Happy NY!
Do you have to go to the Philippines? If you can make it to Thailand it will be a better first experience in SEA. If it has to be the Philippines and you can fly directly to CRK, do that. You waste less time in transit because the airport is empty and only 10 min drive from Walking Street. All the bars in a small area you can walk around and the system is straightforward. Its nothing like it used to be but since you never saw those days, and your reference is the US, you will still have a good time.

That makes no sense. Thailand has far better medical anything and everything.
A monger doesn't do this because its a last resort. I had 2 Girlfriends and fucked trade show girls for free when I used to go to Vegas when I was younger but at night in las Vegas still bought hookers to mess around with. Unless you are a piece of shit having a girlfriend or free sex oftentimes cost more than paid sex. Paid sex is transactional no baggage and you get exactly what you are after without any bullshit. I really don't see why you are confused as you I guess see mongering as a mea and ons of last resort due to being ugly. How ugly are you Rekay ugly?
Hehehe, my GF tells me that I'm gorgeous, but when I look in the mirror, and I see that I look totally different than the image of myself that I have in my mind, all I can say is WTF happened?
Yes I did pay for sex a few times in my younger years, but it was always like group of friends that spontaneously decided to "let's go fuck some", and later also after I got married, and just like the drug addicts, I just needed "one more fix". But I did mentioned in my rant, "hats off if they (the koreans) are the married kind". Probably those were the better times, when you can compliment a lady, without being called a rapist. When I was still young and single I did a lot of fucking sprees overseas too, but I never paid for, at least not directly.
Back to our korean friends: I had close interactions with koreans and chinese, I go on lots of cruises, and you're forced to live together with a few thousands of them for a week or two, and unwillingly you observe them daily, and all I have to say is that is far from the reality portrayed in all the soap operas on the PH TV. The chinese are acting like animals, not the slightest trace of human behavior, always yelling, coughing blowing their nose on the carpet, pushing everybody away, not waiting in any line and more. The koreans are also very uncivilized, not as bad as the chinese, but right next to them, minus the pushing and the yelling.
In US I have 2 separate families of wealthy koreans as good friends, and yes they are the kind that you see in the soap operas, extremely civilized, and respectful, even if they are multimillionaires, but all I see here in Asia is just the kind I mentioned above, I understand that not everybody is wealthy, and well educated, in the rest of the world there is the same mix of people, but without this kind of behaviour.
1. Bullet scam was ended by Pres Dutere by making new law that decriminalized having a bullet found in luggage. They are instructed to take the bullet away and let you go on your merry way.
2. No such letter from ABC. Nor any Covid test required. Make sure you do online Etravel. Ph 72 hours before arrival.
3. NAIA terminal 3 money exchange is good. Also Norma's money exchange in Angeles. Idk what you mean by party favors.
2. Wow, thanks for the heads up on eTravel! I guess that has been new since this past summer? I have some books on the PI and watch travelogs on Youtube, but I hadn't seen anyone mention that yet.
I got a message from the ABC passed to me through booking.com, saying I required a COVID antigen test that was no more than 3 days old in order to check in. But when I messaged and emailed them back, I get no response.
3. For "party favors," I meant Vit see and V.
I am landing at CRK airport. Is the rate at the airport substantially better or worse than in town?
Thanks again!

You can buy vitamins at the pharmacy, don't buy from the street vendors, you never know what you're getting.
Unfortunately regardless of the rate, you'll have to exchange money at the airport, for the taxi, you need 5-600 P, don't rely on the ATMs, they may not work.
I'm using Western Union cash to myself, or transfer to my GF bank account, is cheaper than 250 P fee for every 10 K at the ATM, and whatever else your bank is charging you, I pay 3-4 $ for 100 K.

Its the Phils government discovering if you are sick when entering, and where you will be staying. There is an app you download and enter your info (Flight #, illness info, hotel where you will stay, blah blah). You do this within the 72 hours prior to your flight's anticipated departure time. When you have completed the info, the app gives you a QR code which you screenshot. Then show the QR code to Phils Immigration if asked for it. Better, subscribe to Jennifer Terri's YT channel, she covers specifically Phils Immigration problems for foreigners (we been talkin' about her for a couple of years also). Here is her most recent regarding eTravel:

Better to pick up the phone and call ABC directly. No one in Phils is famous for timely customer response via email or FB.
3. For "party favors," I meant Vit see and V.
From memory last year, street vendors sell both pills and jelly packets.
Alternately go to the pharmacies in the area and just buy some. If one pharmacy insists on a prescription, go to any clinic and ask a doctor for a prescription; or alternately try a different pharmacy.
I am landing at CRK airport. Is the rate at the airport substantially better or worse than in town?
Not sure, but the difference will be within 1-2 peso or so. Depending on how desperate you are for money, its easy to exchange a small amount of your money (say, $50 USD) at the airport initially so that you will have money for a taxi and your first meal. At that point you can hit a street vendor for money exchange. There is a popular exchange place on WS just across the street from the Atlantis-Carousel area.

Hookers 2 Go
Walking past ABC hotel at noon, a grab triker delivered two young hookers in those knock of evening gowns and cheap handbags for two or more lucky Koreans to drill. Walking back 40. Minutes later, Korean vans pulling up, Koreans taking go go gals from bars, bikini clad hookers with too many miles on the click giving me half hearted come ONS from their clubs, no hookers outside Phillies going up and only two younger ones on the way back. As always, the best thing about that return trip is not breaking an ankle. There is the old insult about not being able to walk and chew gum. Walking, gingerly, is enough for this run down strip.

Have you been to any city in America? Or London or Paris or Rome? At least in Korea and China there is minimal to no crime in the streets. You can't walk the streets of any major European capital now without watching for pick pockets. In America you worry about getting shot. Thanks, but I will take Asia and Asians any day over western countries.
You can buy vitamins at the pharmacy, don't buy from the street vendors, you never know what you're getting.
Sound advice Ugly.
A few years ago I had a vascular operation on my leg and when the conversation came up with my doctor, she actually suggested Vitamin V because of its potential to lower blood pressure. Sure, I may pay more for it prescribed here in Australia (the price has come down considerably, especially with pharmacy generic brands), but she did say never buy it on the street or over the internet as you don't know what you're getting.
With the heart rate peaking with a pretty Filipina giving you a ride, it's best to look after yourself and hospitals in the Phils aren't that inviting. As Westie suggested, you can grab some at a pharmacy in the Phils, as opposed to buying it on the street.
And one pill a day is ample for me and always does the trick _ Phil.

Weekend report
Landed Friday morning to Clark airport. Tried to catch grab taxi but none was available so had to rely on normal taxi. Charged me 600 p to ScoreBirds. Nothing has changed this hotel in past two years rooms still clean, food is good and overall atmosphere quite pleasant.
Did some bar hopping but didn't get wasted any of the 3 nights. First lady I found trough Tinder App. Quoted 2000 p for short time fun. Ex bargirl now starting to lose her looks but delivered like a pro so overall experience was good.
Here are some bars I went into and my opinion about them:
Club Atlantis. Glory days are far away. None of the dancers looked particularly stunning I'd say to my eye 5's and some 6's. Local beer was 150 p didn't buy LD or quote BF.
Carousel. Few stunners to my eyes and girl wear bikini. Overall good wibe and quite packed both Friday and Saturday. Sunday was more quiet. Local beer 150 p and LD 350 p.
Dollhouse. Same as Club Atlantis saw nothing there and won't be going back. Prices same too.
Baccara. Korean Bar. Noisy and people smoke cigarettes indoor. My eye didn't catch anything special there either but saw Koreans walking in and taking some girls out without bothering to even sit down. Local beer 200 and LD 400 so expensive too.
Viking. Good atmosphere and pretty packed even Sunday evening. Didn't see any stunners there either but couple of solid 7's for sure. Unfortunately most expensive bar from the ones I went with Local Beer 210 LD 350 and Barfine 5500 pesos only sir.
XS. Reminded me what Club Atlantis used to be in it's prime. Lots of girls wearing evening gowns and dance show. Still I didn't see anyone stunning there either. Local beer 150 LD 350.
Genesis. This bar has discounted prices "Back to Pandemic prices" They advert (they told me bar is for sale). Also Korean bar but not as noisy as some of the others. Few ok looking girls too but mostly nothing special. They charged me Local beer 150 and LD 300 so didn't notice any discount there. Took a girl out from there too. Barfine was 4000 p and agreed she would stay until midnight (went out maybe 9 pm). Anyways girl looked looked good with slim body, aged 27 and no baby. Back in the room came the disappointment. First no kissing lips only boobs. Pussy was hairy and no kissing pussy either. Wouldn't give a blowjob and insisted using a rubber. Sex was awful since my dick didn't fit all into her and she kept on fake moaning even I realise she's not enjoying it. So told her quit the theater and told she can finish me with her hand. After the deed was done she rallied away before it was even 10 pm. So it was a bad experience but as a long time monger I've learn that sometimes shit happen.

Thanks again!
You can buy your vitamins without a script down the street from ABC at Watson's Drugs and Southstars Drugs. Just belly up to the counter and ask for your generic V. They will ask you 50 MG or 100 MG and how many?
Landing at CRK just look for a Blue taxi. Fixed rate is 500 pesos.
