There are "animals" in the west also, but nothing like this.

However despite all the bad things shown on the daily news, that are happening in the US, I never, ever had any bad encounter or witnessed something bad my entire life, I lived in Cleveland and Vegas, and my job took me almost daily to the worst parts of town. I also traveled more than most humans on this planet, all over the world, in all kind of places.

My own list of dangerous places, not based on nobody's else opinion, or official statistics is: everything south of the border all the way down to Brazil, Costa Rica not included, then pockets of violent crime in big cities all over the world, and the war zones. If you know how to prevent and mitigate, and what to do if it happens, you're good to go. If something bad is going to happen to you, it will, regardless of the place.

There is literally a sign that says you have to buy drinks to enter. The left side of the sign says "minimum drink order and basic manners to enter" in English. The right side of the sign is in Korean.

I wrote it while being right in front of Madonna about 8:30 pm.

You say there is no minimum drinks, however there was a sign right at the entrance saying "drink minimum and basic manners required to enter" on the left side. The right side of the sign was in Korean, I guess saying the same thing. I approached the doorman and the first thing he said was about the drink buying and that it was not allowed to just go in and look.

So I asked what the barfine was and he said "6 to 12". I said 6 to 12 depending on what? He said depending on the girl. I walked off.

I went back down there at 11:26 pm to take a picture of the sign, but the place was already locked up tight looking like it was under construction or something.

Flew into Clark airport for two nights in Angeles city, then flew to Boracay for two nights and then finished it off in Cebu the last on January 19th two nights. There was no waiting at immigration so made it nice and easy to go through immigration and customs. Took a grab from there to the Wild Orchid resort. The cost was 377 pesos.

Not to busy on Walking Street but at least for this trip, talent was way up. Since I only had two nights I didn't go to a lot of bars but here is a recap of the bars I visited. This is all by memory so if you see a price that might be different than what I recalled, please update for me.

La Maquida or however it is spelled. The bar nest door actually across the street from Kokomos. Since my friend paid for the drinks I'm not sure what the cost was. Anyways, we sit at the stage and most of the girls are facing the other way. All the girls were in bikinis with a few with some fine asses. Looks good so far and then they turned around to dance for us facing us. What a letdown. Whatever wood we had were quickly deflated. We hung around until the next group came on. This next group were in lingerie and mostly older so we left.

Went to Queens where our drinks were P150, girls drinks P300, and the barfine P4000. Mostly older and overweight so had a drink and left.

Loiipops. Good news the girls are still in bikinis. Bad news, while we were there most were older and not to sexy. I know timing is everything in our hobby but our timing was way off here. Girls drinks here were P300 and the barfine P5000. This was quoted from the mamasan.

Bad boys. This was a weird club. Our drinks P150, girl drinks, P350 and barfine for s / t P3600 or for l / t P4600 depending on the girl. Only about six girls there but here's the weird part. We got there around 16:10 and at 16:25 they told us we had to leave because the next group were under different mgmt. We told them we paid for the drinks why can't we finish. Of course we left and vowed to never return.

Lucifers. This club was kind of weird also. We went in and only three girls on stage. No way we were going to stay so on the way out, I asked who I assume was a mamasan when is the best time to get the girls here. She said 10:30 in the morning. I said no, I mean will there be more girls later that night? She said no more girls, the best girls were taken. She then said many Koreans get there in the morning and barfine the girls. I guess that makes sense but after most of the girls are barfine, why stay open? Didn't get prices here.

Quality. This place was rocking. Many many girls here. The setup is messed up but the talent was very good. Our drinks P150. Girls drinks P300. Barfine P5000. I did barfine a girl from here and had a great time.

Saved the best for last. Sensations. The girls here were very good with at least three that I would consider very hot and young. Our drinks P150. Girls drinks were P400 which was the highest we encountered. Barfine was P5000 and yes I did barfine one of the hotties. Not sure if this was an anomaly or the good talent is slowly coming back. I hope it's the latter.

I think its fair to say that the town and especially the bars are very quiet indeed, so quiet that of the few remaining western bar owner friends they are loudly complaining of very low punter numbers and even more so low girl numbers and what girls are available is just not worth employing.

As we all know dragon bar on walking st had lots of money spent recently but has been for sale for some time (no takers) the owner told me he's just had enough because angeles is so quiet and its not worth throwing good money after bad.

Skin club, everyone was talking of this new club being opened, owner promised top girls, model dancers, shows, girls in cages, lap dancers etc, owners spent very large investment in updating premises, new sound systems, seating, stages, lighting, it lasted all of two months open, had to close its doors due to no customers and not able to employ enough girls to work in the bar, yes a massive loss taken for the investors.

Prices in angeles increase weekly, some bars now are charging 200+peso for a local beer,400 peso for a lady drink (mostly small juice) below average older chubbies now think they are worth 6,000 peso one pop, 5 or six years ago these same girls were happy with 3,000 peso for 2 or 3 pops, you would think as they age, get uglier and fatter their price would reduce instead of double, welcome to the new angeles city.

Had two separate bar hops this last week, one with western friends and one with asian friends, western friends refuse to go to the korean bars as they get ignored by the girls and asian friends hate the western bars because of no lookers.

Western bars, Lollipop bar, la bamba bar, geckos bar, masquarade bar, all very quiet, some bars our group were the only punters in, I tend to spend very little on nights in western bars because I just don't see any girls I want to buy drinks or party with.

On to korean oriented bars, our resident troll claims QBar does not have asian customers and has western customers instead, I can only say what I see, QBar although fairly quiet I was the only westerner in and have been so on multiple visits.

Xs bar and avalon bar, these two bars have the best shows and a few cuties in each bar, unfortunately what is cute here also only drinks and fucks with asians, some girls are just show girls or drinks only girls, always have a good night here because the shows make it.

Gold moon bar, monsoon bar, vikings bar, fairly quiet most nights, definately these bars are finding it hard to hire girls in numbers and what is working here is mostly below average at best.

On to madonna bar, although this bar has not been open too long its become a firm must visit bar on a night out, my korean friends tend to love it here, they feel comfortable, the girls are friendly and although many girls are drinks only a good few girls have been bar fined by korean friends here (all girls 6,000 peso, never paid more regardless of looks or dress colour) girls make it clear from the start right in the bar its a one pop bar fine which is fine by the koreans, some reports coming out that the girls tend to do the basics only (no open mouth kissing, pussy sucking or blow jobs, girls that require condoms) I'm sure that's not all the girls but reports of such are plentiful from friends that have bar fined girls here.

In summing up I have to be honest, its dead here in angeles, one has to visit multiple bars to find even one looker, even then most girls that have the looks are mainly show girls only, drinks only, asian only or cherry girls (virgins) as a westerner its not at all easy to get laid except by the lesser girls that are not popular with the asians.

I visited an old buddy of mine in AC about two weeks ago. Here are some of my observations as a first-time visitor for a short two-night stay with only a small number of bar stops.

Getting there from the Manila airport can't get much easier. Landed, then proceeded to Terminal 3 where I boarded the non-stop Genesis Bus at Bay 13. Comfortable seats and plenty of air conditioning for P430.

On the return to Quezon City, I rode a Five Star bus to their Cubao terminal. Company name is Five Star, but I give it three stars for the service. Clean and comfy with only one stop for P290.

Arrived at 5 pm and checked into the Dalian Peak Hotel. Pretty darned nice lodging with a limited free breakfast for $38 USA / night. Not a swanky place but it's modern, clean, comfortable, and walkable to most night-time attractions.

My friend and I went barhopping one afternoon in the Perimeter Road area. Started at Night Moves and hit three more clubs along the way. P75 beers were a bargain and I gladly paid P250 for "ladies' drinks" so I could chat with a few gals. All the girls spoke above-average English so communication was not a problem. Had a lot of fun, and I can see why so many older Western retirees like myself hang out there in the afternoon.

To commentors here who complain about the poor quality of bar women, I counter that the issue is your standards are just different than mine. We can agree to disagree on looks.

I tend to favor women who have the package that most East Asian men find unappealing. Short, dark skin, long black hair, thin bodies with slightly flared hips and tiny yet rounded butts, cute and friendly faces with big smiles, and flat noses and bellies. Breasts are optional. And no tattoos. Each bar had at least a couple shorties strutting around in 5-inch heels that got my motor revved up.

But I was saving my carnal energy for a bar on A. Santos Street that fellow-poster PhilJoy visited last year, called the Roelgeorge Bar. No dancers and no air conditioning, it's just a simple bar with hostesses who will gladly sit with you for ladies' drinks.

What it lacks in glamor it makes up for with nostalgia. It's like the place was frozen in the 1980's. Plenty of historical paraphernalia on the walls and an unplugged dust-covered juke box sitting at the entrance. Even a wall calendar from 1999. Doesn't appear like any maintenance has been performed in decades, but I appreciated the museum-feel to the place.

Visited the bar twice in the evenings. No other customers and, unfortunately, there were only two table girls each time. One was a 48-year-old gal from Bacolod (name escapes me) with a petite body and attractive face paired with a big gut that inevitably comes from 30 years of drinking in bars. The other was a younger pregnant gal, who may be a fantasy for some guys, but not for me. I found out later the preggo only gives BJs.

Customer beers are P75 and the girls drink bottles of San Miguel for P200. Had a lot of fun gabbing with the Bacolod gal and she was not shy about letting her hands wander around my erogenous zones.
