I have been to hcm many times before, but it's been 4 years since my last visit. I think the best times hcm had was in the 1990's where 90% of the girls at all the clubs were working girls. yesterday i had to say goodbye to saigon and hello, to cambodia. it was bittersweet because i had the most consistent mongering success during my 40+ days in vietnam there.

I have read the FR's over the last few pages and since there is no mention of this, I am bringing up this question.
I will be in HCMC in the middle of next week and while booking hotels, the site says that a Vietnamese national will not be able to stay with a foreigner unless proof of marriage is produced. My question is "Does this apply to all hotels? ' IF not then can anyone please advise names of GF hotels or a way around having to book another room at the same hotel.
How does a tourist take a woman for LT to his room without hassles? Are there any GF hotels in District 1 where this problem will not be faced?
Would really appreciate it if anyone familiar with this dilemma can help.

If you're checking in at small hotels, like 3 stars hotels you will have no problems bringing girls back to stay over night. At 5 stars hotels, most own by government, they don't let girls stay pass like 10pm or so, unless you check in an extra room for your girls. There are many small hotels at D1 to look for.
