I've been with numerous nubile young Filipinas and after a while found that many of them were either anatomically too tight or incapable of fully relaxing their vulvas during sex. I'm not judging and am completely in support of any one that pursues this harmless vice. But I find sex to be much more enjoyable with a non pro that I have developed some type of rapport with. As far as attractiveness is concerned their are plenty of attractive 30ish filipinas that you can enjoy both sexually and intellectually and for that matter a few younger ones as well. And I agree with the reason you and many others travel to parts of asia and thats for cheap sex with good looking women. There are a lot of women in the Philippines who are comfortable being wih an older man in the short or even long term, including some well educated career women. However the laws against foreign introductions for marriage as well as the articles online from Filipinas who hate the fact that young women are marrying older foreign men, tell me a lot of others think differently. So my question is how regional is the belief that 'age is just a number'?

I would assume that economic pressures is one reason women become less concerned over age, but I have had plenty of contact with women who were financially quite secure who strongly preferred an older foreign guy. My sense is that most of these women are from more rural and poor backgrounds so that even though they are enjoying a decent careers their values emphasized stability and income in a husband with little concern for youth and appearance. Of course others had just been burned one too many times by a good looking young Filipino guys infidelity and instaility.

So are there regions where the 'hunting' would be better than others for a young well educated woman or promising college student? Is Luzon less traditional in this sense than Mindanao? How is Cebu vs Palawan or Samar?

Great song, Red! I have given this idea, this quest, for beauty a lot of thought in my 55 years. While the less attractive women do try harder, generally, and may be better wives, I don"t think I could marry anything less than an 8 (unless her boobs were huge) because it is already quite a challenge for me to remain faithful! Some girls just find that old foreign guys suit their particular agenda. It doesn't matter if she is from Luzon or one of the other islands. Keep in mind that your penis can convince you that anything is possible if it wants it badly enough. As for those relationships you saw, well no one ever really knows for sure if a relationship is happy or not looking in from the outside.

As is the case with generalizations, the disparagement of May-December relationships is sometimes warranted, but often not. I'm in the 8th year of such a relationship and so far, it's proved to be the best I've ever had. I have several friends in similar situations though I've also known several cases in which the relationship didn't work out well. What's critical to making it work-at least from the male perspective-is to take your time and not to make any decisions until the initial knife-edge of passion has dulled somewhat, thus assuring that you're using at least part of your larger brain. Then too, time allows for a more accurate assessment of a woman's character, and I imagine allows the woman a more valid assessment of the character of her prospective partner. It takes weeks, and often months to arrive at a decision that neither party will regret. Unfortunately, many of the decisions that I see being made are hasty, and reached at the height of passion, which probably doesn't bode well for the longer term outloook. The fact is however, that not all Filipinas are scam artists and some have a laudable strength of character.
