Yeah, it's almost like a Nigerian viral mail! I do not go to Rio to donate money. I've been to real poor sections of Rio de Janeiro, like Pavuna which is the last stop north on the metro. I attended the auction this afternoon. The items sold today are to be paid for tomorrow and must be picked up tomorrow or Friday. They do intend to open HELP tonight. TA remained in operation during the auction and was still open when I left around 5:00 pm.
Post at another site stating that Help's DJ announced tonight, that Help would OPEN tomorrow night.
IF Help is vacated on Saturday, Oglobo is reporting that it's demolition would start Next Monday.
Oglobo also reporting that 90% of Help's assets were sold at auction today. Purchased items are to be picked up tomorrow. I don't see how Help can open tomorrow night, if it's assets are removed. Perhaps a bit of hubris on the part of the DJ.
Or something else is afoot.
