The "other" long term expats invariably get themselves entangled into a serious relationship, with a girl who will not allow them the time and space to P4P often. Anyone in Thailand and not enjoying P4P is, in my view, the loser. You can be in a serious relationship and have a little side fun anywhere in the world. But when in Thailand you should be having large doses of P4P and Freebies.

Probably because we can't afford it! Just kidding of course, but certainly my budget was many times greater when I just came here as a half-the-year tourist. Now that I work here each fuck is a rather big decision, even at 500 baht.

But even if I had the same money I had when I was coming from the US, I'd still spend it all on P4P. It is way too much trouble to chase 'regular' women, and I'm not even sure they would have me. I've had a couple of well educated middle class girlfriends, who made their own decent livings, but of course they were 30 or older (not to mention average looking) and thus had no other choice than a farang. I have to say I've seen little evidence that a 40-something year old just ok looking guy who works for a living could get the cute 20-25 year olds 'for free' - I mean speaking reasonably it doesn't make sense, does it fellows?

I kind of get what you are saying about your own circumstances but I think you and OTH miss the point that WE (most of us) dont live there.

There are a lot of guys lately on here who go on about being young and handsome. I agree with you that some tend to go on about how studly they are, which could be true, but seems to a lot of bravado from supposed young guys who shouldn't need any.

For the record, I'm fat, 56 and average looking. But, I learned a long time ago that Thai girls like fun, a good sense of humour, status and security (not necessarily financial), whether they're farmgirls or HiSo 'dek noo'.

As for Easy07's "100 girls a year" - I used to do that and still could, if so inclined. But, now I'd rather sip a nice bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau than a gallon of Ernest and Julio Gallo 'eau de screw-top'. It's about quality over quantity.

If one is living in Idaho dreaming of his next 2-weeker in LOS, I can totally understand wanting to maximize the limited time with as many shags as possible through a whole range of girls. I would not go to the extent of saying they are all prostitutes, but a lot of them are actively looking for a man to "Support them".
In my mind, a prostitute is a lady who has chosen to have sex for money as a job (or shall I say Carreer?), the Thai girls yo u refer to are not really prostitutes, most are regular working ladies (your garden variety sales lady) or even students that choose to have sex with a man who would "help" then get better clothes or a new Cellphone.
