So far there is no cure or vaccine for covid-19 virus. To get herd immunity 70% of the population need to be infected. That works around 90 crores indians. Of which 20% need hospitalisation that is 18 crores and around 2% die that is 180 lakh indians. With so many deaths there will gross social unrest and pressure on hospitals which have only 1 bed per 1000 population in India. The purpose of the lockdown is to postpone this. For how long and what is the end result no one knows. We are counting on better immunity to viral fevers in Indians, hot and humid summer, BCG vaccine protection etc, But ultimately it's fate which we don't know. Even if we survive corona lots of Indians will die of economic hardships. God help humanity.

Today the international media praising India on how we have controlled out numbers but tomorrow once we will face economic crisis this same media will make fun of us. Also coming to your point that people are not following lockdown which is not true, if the shops are only open for 2 hours there will be crowd for buying essential s. Also if we talk about dharavi there is only one toiled for every 1450 people so how will they follow social distancing. All I want to say is this lockdown and social distancing are full proof solutions for developed nations like USA, Europe where the population is less and the area is more. I know Yukta used to give. Don't know now. Lot of A list celebs normally to avoid Papz and earn top $ are doing this in Dubai, London, USA etc. I have already asked a few contacts on celebs (no business in Pune, only Mumbai) he advised me to be patient for net 3-4 months and also hinted on positive and good news. Will see if can find any links for Bengal, Punjab, Hyderabad, Madras and b'luru due to active industries there.
