(Crappy banco Colombia has been 600,000 max.) Moreover with my Schwab card $0 fee and an amazing exchange rate which seems to be better than the Interbank rate never mind the garbage rates of exchange houses.

In different places hookers use different sites to advertise. In Medellin, Facebook just happens to be one of them.

I was with someone recently who made a withdrawal from a Davivienda ATM and he could only pull 720 k at a time. I used the same ATM and it allowed 2 million for a max withdrawal.

Banco Pichincha and Davivienda don't have ATM fees. Banco Colombia, Servibanco and Citibank charge a fee.

Craigslist, backpage and City Vibe all got shutdown by the government. I guess I could try to message girls on Instagram in the you. S, but I have a feel it's going to cost 800+ per hour.

Two weeks ago and older guy bartender tried to charge me 22 mil for a Carona. I told him no it's only 20 mil. We argued back and forth until he finally relented and charged me 20. Made me wonder if the beers are really suppose to cost 22 mil at La Isla or if they've been stealing 2 mil from me on every beer purchased. Cover is also 10 mil pesos at La Isla - it's the only english the door man knows lol (the word TEN). He's a very friendly cool guy though. Always feel much more welcome entering La Isla than I do Fase Dos.

I think the waiters at La Isla are trained better. They are always polite. A waiter I frequently use always writes the numbers on a small notepad he carries to avoid confusion.

Technically, by law, the restaurants must advise you in writing about this if they intend to add the 10% without asking you before hand, and it will either be posted somewhere or on the menu. However some of the finer restaurants in Poblado / Laureles will just automatically add it. If your eating in El Centro where the locals eat, it will be never be added as most locals don't tip.

Not sure how much it might cost though. Not sure where you should be looking though. Maybe you might find one in El Centro. My bet is there are a few there, but not sure how you would know. One with the 10% added and one without. There's also a paragraph explaining that the tip is voluntary. Only once, when dining with Colombians, did I see someone refuse the tip. However, it depends on what estrato the person is.
