Mmmm, regarding south Bogota, I'll be in the area in January. If I spot a gem of a place I will let you guys know. Most people don't go down there as it is generally too dangerous, lots of drug dealing and shady people out and about.
Here is information to those who come to work trip and who have office near calle 72, avenida Chile.
There are cheap places on the other side of the carrera 14, called Caracas, that is where Transmillenium is going.
Locals will always advice you to not go to other side of the Caracas, that is considered kind of line of safe and dangerous.
I have never find anything dangerous there, in fact my first very cheap hotel was in that area.
These are good places to visit in the morning before the work, or in the lunch time. If you go after work, for best girls you are already number four that day.
And in that Carrera 20 #71-52, they may all be busy after office hours.
I have sometimes first visited these places, and then later called more expensive girl to visit in my apartment.
Those 150-200 kilo girls who work in the Lalos / Casanova / Lido. It takes longer session with them if I have first consumed biggest pressure in these cheap places.

Mamasan will push you hard to take one hour. She is always telling that there are 8 girls, although sometimes there is only 2.

This is a bar, when you go there it may be empty.
Girls will come from upstairs to present themself. 6 or more girls.
You can spend time in bar drinking with the girl.

There is guy outside the door which will let you inside. Last time I went to ask him directions to find this place.

When you go there, girls will introduce themself. However, they are all the time downstairs, so you can take a beer and look girls little longer.

Was wondering what happened to "Juan Pablos"? Did the owner die or what? He had moved the place several times over the last 20 years, I'll always remember him as he always sat by the front door watching everyone like a hawk. The good looking bartender had always worked with him. He always brought in a bunch of good looking girls in.
As for the Santa Fe area, it has really gone downhill compare to about five years ago. I think mainly because theres no money to be made by the girls anymore, all the attraction is in the stripping the girls do, which brings in a different type of customer, guys who just want to go see a strip show and get drunk. A lot less about going upstairs.
Now what you generally see is a bunch of scrawny young girls (runts) working at these bars. La Piscina might as well close, nobody goes there anymore. Still there are some gems to be had once in awhile at Fiebre and Las Paisas.
There are a few places on Primera de Mayo (near Boyaca) and also in the Venecia neighborhood which might be worth going to. Although spanish is very helpful. Sorry, I don't remember the names.
I am in Bogota once a month and this trip I was extremely busy so I did not have any of my girlfriends come to visit. My driver suggested.
Loutron which was close to my hotel. What a joke. They wanted 300, 000 pesos for 1/2 hour. The girls I saw were nothing special. I would avoid Loutron as it is obviously a clip joint. I fired my driver.

This upsets me because this is the 2nd website that I really liked that has removed all the free ads from Colombian pros. Came back to Bogota after more than a year and by reading some of the reports thought it won't be good anymore here.
Took a taxi driver who drove me to all the popular clubs to check out the scene.
I was not disappointed. The club scene is still one of the best in Latin America and I can tell as I do travel to a lot of places. The variety and quality of girls is really good. On the negative side I noticed that prices went up considerably. Most girls will quote you 300t above. But most of them will also agree on a 200t price. What is really convenient is to ask the girl for her mobile number so you can meet her at your convenience. I would definitely recommend you get yourself a trusted taxi driver an agree with him a fixed or an hourly price.
The best clubs I have visited were Juan Pablo (still the best in town!) and Lancaster. Lido is also ok but a bit pricy (40t for your first drink).

In addition to my report just wanted to recommend a great taxi driver who can take you to the best clubs in Bogota. He's name is Gustavo and his cell is 310 564 51 76. Tell him Tom has sent you. He charges a reasonable all-in fee which you can negotiate with him before starting the adventure (depends on number of hours, etc.). When you are in the club he will discreetly stay close and make sure you are safe. The knows most of the club owners and they are happy seeing him bringing customers. However, he is independent and can advise you well according to your taste.
I had a one day layover in Bogota so based on Leblon and others' recommendations I took a taxi up to the area of Calle 71 and Carrera 20 and looked around at 8pm on a Monday night. I felt safe walking this area. Safer, in fact, than my hotel in Candelaria.
I started out trying to find an area recommended by a taxi driver when I was coming from the airport. The area near 22 and 22 but the area was just scary so I jumped in a cab and headed north.
I first tried the tiny bar at Carrera 17 at 70A-80. Music was blasting and whatever women worked there were "occupied" when I asked.
Next, I tried Carrera 15 at 67-24. It was a regular looking house with no signs and the lights off. They might hang out a sign for services during the day but nada on a Monday night.
Finally found relief at Calle 71 at 14A-20. Just as Leblon described, a regular, big metal door with 5 marginally attractive women in the apartment behind it. Took Estrella (?) a brunette in her early 20's with a pretty face but a flabby body with some stretch marks. 1 hour 70k but only CBJ and regular sex included. Service was ok and she gave me a pretty good massage. Make sure you negotiate any extras before going upstairs to the very nice room with a shower. Mildly short timed me.
I wish I had more time in this country but at an hour for less than $40 you can't go wrong.
I will say 2 things about Bogota, as someone who knows Co and SA fairly well:
1) Bogota sucks.
2) Castillo, downtown, in "dangerous" area is amazing, ANDNIT dangerous, and best brothel in world.
There is nothing else, in my very well researched opinion.
Bonus: Skip Cartegena. Medellin is quiet. Buenos Aires is a party 6 nights a week. Working girls best in world, but not as good as city. Just go there.
I've read some newspaper articles about a couple that were closed down but there are supposedly many more all over town. Have any of you guys been to one? I'll be in Bogota soon.
