Armed Robbery In Laureles
On a separate note a mate of mine witnessed an armed robbery while in a very nice restaurant in Laureles at about 9 pm on a Friday night. I know everyone is aware of the need for safety, I have lived in Medellin for over a year and I have never felt threatened, but some basic precautions really do make a difference. Things like taking an Uber after 10 pm, not using headphones to listen to music at night and not flashing money in public are all sensible things to do. I've also been reading up on some scoplamine facebook groups and it looks like a lot of guys are getting robbed by Tinder girls, I don't use Tinder so have no idea, but just be that extra bit wary, especially if a chica asks to bring a friend on a date, big read flag.
I am aware of a lot people being robbed, however in a nice restaurant on a Friday night in Laureles. So guys came in the restaurant with guns drawn and took everyone's stuff? Something like that would of made the news, especially happening in Laureles. So perhaps your mate can share more of what he witnessed and the restaurant this occurred in, as something like this to occur in a restaurant in Laureles sounds peculiar.
Not sure how many chicas care if family knows
Wait a minute. What? I thought y'all said that these chicks did not want their family's to know they are hookers
I'm pretty sure many of these chicas don't care if their family knows, I've seen too many Facebook pages to think they do, probably some but not all. I've seen many who literally brag about it. There what I call prepago memes on these Facebook pages. One says, in Spanish of course, "A working girl is someone who sleeps around for free, a prostitute is a job that enables me to take care of my children and family" they get humorous too " We don't dislike if he is old, we don't dislike if he is old, we like bank transfers" , and one where it shows a split image, on one side a hand holding an older Android phone and the caption says my friend has a job and works really hard, the other has a hand holding a new iPhone and says I play around with old me.
They brag about it in these memes, and where else would the family think they got the things, the new addidas sweat suit they walk around in, etc.
I'm not arguing against anyone's point here but it seems to be many of these chicas are not secretive about it, they are proud of it. Because they make a good living and have nicer things than their friends who work a regular job.
