I'd definitely agree that we are fortunate that it has been the Koreans and not the Chinese. Maybe 20 years ago it was looking like the Chinese were taking over several of the foreigner areas. I don't think they did much in AC but they were moving in on one of my favourites, Sabang. There is that bias, and it's what keeps prostitution illegal in most parts of the United States. There is a strong American cultural bias against prostitution, and I think that sucks! The definition of a bias isn't that you don't do a particular thing. It's that you have a [B]lean[/B] one way. But you could still go in the other direction despite the bias. The American "cultural lean" is most definitely to reject prostitution. I'm American born and bred and know in my bones for that to be true. But what I also know to be true is that many Americans go in the opposite directions despite the teachings of their culture. The cultural bias is there. But many people (not all) do it anyway.
