Bangkok Reports

I often find myself in a situation where either a connecting flight through BKK is delayed or there is over 4 hours difference between a domestic flight arriving and an international flight leaving. This does not leave enough time to jump into a cab, hit favourite soapy or massage location downtownand get back in time to check-in. And with the political situation as it is, there is the additional risk of getting delayed downtown. If you could get to a provider within 15 minutes of the airport, you could get one and a half hours in and get back in time for check-in.

Are there any providers near the airport?

I could not help noticing that there is almost no info in this forum on places near the airport where the lonely traveller can go during those annoying delays between flights for massage and perhaps a little bit extra. So got the fingers moving and did all sorts of Internet searches for places there were within about 5km of the airport - three possibilities came up:

1. Novotel, a 4 star hotel with massage centre

2. Ta Tong Resort which also advertises massage.

3. An obscure hotel called Valentine which a travel forum described as "sleazy." Obvious choice!

Both 1 and 2 have pickup at the airport for staying guests. Valentine does not.

Even though it is almost within sight of the airport, the taxi to Valentine took about 15 minutes and 100Baht (including the 50Baht airport surcharge). Turned out that Valentine really is a hotel or motel that has a massage service for those staying there. Massage not cheap, though - 500Baht per hour but I got a very nice bedroom with a bathroom thrown in for nothing. While the massage was better than most and the place was clean and well decorated, the provider was in her mid forties and it was made clear that no FS or BJ was on offer. Would only agree, after some tough bargaining, to a hj for an additional 600Baht. I opted for two hours massage (needed it after a long flight). The whole thing plus hj cost 1,600Baht, more than I paid a few weeks ago for the whole night with three pops with a great bar girl in a southern resort town!

According to the Valentine provider, all the ladies at Ta Tong Resort are at least 50 years old and the prices there are about the same - 500baht. Seems there is an opening in the market here for at least a massage outlet that charges less than 500Baht per hour!

Maybe someone else can check out the Novotel operation.

Or if any of you BKK residents know of some other outlets with possible extras within 15 minutes of the airport, then let us know.

First, as far as I'm concern when people post on this site I try my best and that is to allow for people to say what they need to say. Whether they are here for 1 day or for the rest of their life that is their opinion and experience. When a poster opens a topic of discussion they should expect feedback whether it is positive or negative but it shouldn't be personal!

If you read back on anyone of these Thailand threads you can put everyone points of views in this catagory that you mentioned " get off your high horse and don't moralized " and that certainly includes your's! So no one here is on their high horse nor am I moralizing to anyone. It is a discussion and a opinion that I have voiced no difference than your's!

The point I was making was.... that you open the door for discussion by making the comment " all women are prostitutes no matter where they come from " my reference wasn't about what you said about women in Thailand but the point was would you be able to say that to your wife, girlfriend, or a room full of women in your home country where their skin is all white? Dont' you think you are on a high horse and moralizing when you opening and bravely blast the Thai's women pro or non pro?

If I'm wrong please feel free to let me know, just say it openly and not PM me

sorry but I dont think I said all thai women are prostitutes. Thats just ridiculous. What I was saying was that nearly all guys from this site (not all) who meet or have a relationship with a thai girl are doing it because that girl is a prostitute i.e. whether she likes him or not, she is having sex with him in order that he will pay her in some way.

And that does not denigrate Thai women in general. That would assume that we all think that the Thai culture in Pattaya and Bangkok we see as mongers is in any way typical of Thailand in general. I am talking about the still relatively small % of thai girls that have sex with ferangs for financial reward (not just cash by the bedside), and the guys that are stupid enough to think she is a 'real' girlfriend!

Hope that explains it. More interesting than talking about how little I can get away with paying anyway :-)

Hey I think it in UK when i go into Thai restaurant!! Funny in a way but also sad that my experience of Thailand is so narrow that I think like this. My first 3 trips there were with ferang girlfriend. If you are English you'll know the phrase "taking coals to Newcastle" Never again!! :-)

Hmm kind of get you Easy but not quite buying it. My last girlfriend for 2 years in UK earned just a bit more than me £70k, $140k etc. She did not expect anything from me at all. In fact she was way more geneous than me, usually because being a guy, I buy way more guys toys and gadgets, plasma TVs , trips to LOS etc than she would do so she had higher disposable income (oh and apparently Pattaya is just for golf btw:-) ) . In fact most girlfriends I have ever had in UK have all been good career girls so I have never thought of them as giving me P4P to help them out cos they really weren't. Maybe it depends on your country? Any other experiences in other countries guys? I would expect US is the same??

If Easy is trying to say that women do enjoy sex much less than men and require some encouragement, I disagree. But if Easy is saying that women are much picker than men: something like.- a man can enjoy sex with 90% of women while a woman enjoy sex with less than 10% of men, I fully agree.

Also, not every woman would agree to sell sex (I hope my wife would not), I think because we, men, do not like to share in most cases. So many women would prefer to abstain from getting paid in favor of getting a man they would like in the future – as I said, I think for a woman to get a man she really likes is rear.

No extras at all. The girl was very very clear about that. Maybe this is an exception, but from what I could tell, it was very above board. Much different than the old Amari Airport Hotel, that basically had a fishbowl operation and would have given you what you were looking for.

Prices at Annies are now 1,700 for a 2 hours Session (not 1,900).
the price prior to September 1st was 1,500, it has now increased to 1,700.

I am plannig to take my TGF on a 3-4 wks trip though SE Asia. She is not a bar girl nor directly in the p4p trade.
