how do you guys get around to all these locations when you're there? . Rent a motor scooter?
I agree with Wayne Lynch, a scooter is the fastest way to get around. But it is also the most dangerous. Specially watch out for very deep and dangerous potholes, even on major roads. Watch out for dogs running into the road, watch out for totally crazy and unexpected driving by others. Just be much more careful then you would usually be. And try to get a good helmet. While many drive here without one, they suffer most from even minor accidents. And medical emergency services are not the quickest and certainly not the best here.
Oh, and get an international drivers licence if you can. The police check a lot and while you will usually get away with a fine / bribe of 50-100. 000, I'the rather have a license.
Or use taxis. Plenty around, you don't usually have to have them wait either as in most places. Certainly around Sanur. You will be able to find a new taxi quickly. And for some reason most taxis here drive fairly reasonably, usually not the mad dash as in many other places. And they are not too expensive. I guess you can get from Kuta to Sanur for about 100. 000. Just don't tell them you want to go to an X-house as they will get commission which you will end up paying for.
well you hire a scooter.
drive safely though!
i've never hired a bike in bali, and yes i have an unrestricted bike licence at home.
i've owned a 900, 1000 and a 1340cc bike in australia over a span of 20 years, doing crazy speeds up over 280km / h on country roads with friends, but wouldn't risk life and limb there to save a few $ in bali. too many cheap taxis available, and you don't need to worry about having a few drinks then riding.
my 2c worth.
a little tip though, don't tell the driver you are going to a certain establishment, or the driver will front for a kickback, which you will be paying.
in sanur, ask to go to jalan donau poso near the bypass road, tell him you are meeting friends near there or something. have your smart phone loaded with a free gps app and import the coordinates from the customised google map for bali. it's not far to walk from place to place in the red light area, and your phone will direct you.

First time to Bali
Hi all,
I am an experienced mongering and have enjoyed the beauties of Thailand and Phillipines with no trouble in finding girls there. However I'm planning a first time trip to Bali and its my understanding that the WG's and Sexy side of things arnt as in your face as they are in say Thailand or Phillipines.
I would like any info from experienced Bali members on where are the popular places to go to pick up a cute working girls (like nightclubs) or in general any pointers about mongering in Bali.
I'm also keen to know where in Bali is best to stay for mongering? Kuta, Seminyak, Sanur etc?
Cheers in advance guys, any help rendered will be highly appreciated.
Sure, it can get a little dangerous out there, but you just take it easy. No hurry. Your on a holiday!
To the newcomer it looks like there are no rules on the road so they do whatever they like, which can result in a crash at worst, or dropping the bike at best.
It may look like anarchy out there, but the locals know exactly what is permitted and what the (completely) unwritten road rules are.
If the visitor drives defensively and doesn't try to out-do the locals in crazy passing maneuvers, you should be ok on a scooter.
However if you prefer a bit of comfort and security, hiring a car is pretty cheap. You can get a Suzuki Katana (little jeep that looks 4WD but isn't) for $15 a day, less if you hire for a few days or a week or two. Don't worry too much about what side side of the road you're used to driving on, you'll catch on in about 10 minutes.

yeah, i could ride there, but taking a jacket and my helmet (no, i wouldn't risk the gravel rash) is more hassle to me than it's worth.
besides, a mate of mine ran a hotel there for 10 years and has an indon wife etc, warned me of the road rules there. if you are foreign, it's your fault.
if i was making an extended stay (intend to do 12 months to learn bahasa one day) i'd ride for sure, but in holiday mode i'll use the blue taxis.
i shudder when i see inexperienced riders on hire scooters in heavy traffic with a surf board, lots of sunburn (bare skin) and the impetuousness of youth. some even add a skin full of bintang for added gravel rash! seeing them shooting around bemo corner or kuta at speed with all of the above just makes me shake my head.

Just a bit
Hi guys, stumbled on yr site. Like it! I have been mongering in Indo for years, as well as a number of years living in Bali. My, brother, a reformed mongerer. Has been working recently in hiv education, about Bali he says BE CAREFUL! Known stats, that is, probably on the low side, indicate more than 20+% of the sex girls in sth Bali are HIV+, that's deadly guys! So, suit up at all times if you ask me. Trouble is local Bali officials don't really give a toss, and live a kind of contradiction, they want some 'fee' money, but morally think the prozzies are all from java and bring it on themselves, they think it is NOT a Bali problem. They are nuts of course. Anyway, big bro says, hundreds of guys a year are going back to the WA mines with stds, if not the biggie, HIV. So, I am just sayin', OK?
RE an earlier Bali / Jkta / Batam question. JTown wins hands down, if you ask me. You can literally get lost for weeks in that giant metropolis full of horny gals from mad, crazy schoolgirls to rich 40something yummies who love dick, specially our white version.
Coupla tips: learn the lingo. This is like an aphrodisiac, believe me. If you can talk theirs and also know some of the local chat-up lingo the girls can't believe it, they love it! Of course, in JTown there is a large variety of commercial sex of all sorts, massages, salons, bars, discos and so on. But the great thing is all the shopping malls there and in other big cities like bandung and Surabaya, or any place where people gather, bus and train stations, for example. You will go to these places, put yourself about, and you will find a gal ready to fuck you within 15 mins, guaranteed! BUT, in my book, you need the lingo. Try doing that in Oz!
I am not joking guys, I have just returned from a fortnight there, I am 55, but speak the local at a high level. For 12 consecutive days I was banging my balls off in The Big J. Of course, I did meet the occasional free lancer in a bar, but shopping malls after lunch are worthwhile. Even picked up a girl who worked as a plant seller around the national stadium, she was a deep nut brown, smooth as, all over and gave a really muscly fuck! Get your dic (k) tionaries out! . What I am saying is, the sex costs can be kept really low.
Back to health. We do have to look after ourselves and our loved ones and the girls, and we love them so much don't we? Hihihi I remember, a long time ago, a mad taxi ride at 3 am, huge titted floozy sucking me off in the back of cab, she swallowed my whole cum load with a lip smacking relish and then wanted to go a deep tongue pash for afters. Whoah! In the glint of streetlights whizzing by, I saw she had a mouth full of decayed chompers! Eeeeuuughhhh, god, I worried for days thinking what sort of infection I was going to get from her. So, guys, enjoy! But healthy and clean the whole time, eh?
Yeah, I could ride there, but taking a jacket and my helmet (no, I wouldn't risk the gravel rash) is more hassle to me than it's worth.
I hear you VB but one of the great pleasures in life is the independence to go where you want, when you want. That's why now, after many years of Bali trips, I get a scooter for the whole trip. I go to my regular hire guy and hand him Rp500, 000 for 25 days or more if I'm there longer based on 20, 000 ($2) a day. You should pay more for shorter stays.
Buy your own helmet as NONE of the hire helmets fit, they are all ridiculously LARGE! I have no idea why. I ended up buying a child's helmet as it was the only one small enough to fit snugly. A whole $13 complete with a cartoon charcter on it! Not as good as my $400 Shoei at home but better than one that doesn't fit. Don't ride there if you don't ride at home. Get an International Licence. Expect to get stopped by the cops. Don't assume anything. Ride much slower than home. Don't hug the left gutter, that's for other riders to turn into without even looking. Give way to everyone. Don't get angry. Don't make sudden changes of direction. Avoid riding at night unless you really really really have to (along the Sanur strip is OK). Many riders don't use lights at night as they believe that lights use up more fuel. I rode from Ubud area to Sanur several times recently and it was quite a challenge! A kilometer in Bali is like 20km at home. SO much going on and so many potential disasters. Having said that, in 30 years I have never been even close to an accident myself. YET! Getting up inland and cruising the quiet roads is what makes Bali the amazing place that it is. Do it during Galungan Festival and it's even better with all the decorative bamboo "penjors" hanging over the roads. If there is a more beautiful island on earth please take me there! You just don't get to see it the same way from a taxi or a minibus or even a car, although by car is very comfortable in the heat for sure and is the next best method to a scooter.
If you don't make an effort to see just a bit of the island then I don't think you really deserve to be there!

Flea pit?
What time do the flea pits in Sanur open?
What time do the flea pits in Sanur open?
The Flea Pit is a specific place on the Bukit between McDonalds and the Nusa Dua hotel area. You'll find directions in this forum. Use the search function at top right "search thread."
The X-houses are the ones in Sanur.
Flea Pit or X-house, from early afternoon onwards, but with probably only a few girls. Evenings and night they will be operating full noise.
-
What time do the flea pits in Sanur open?
Most of the "X-houses" in Sanur are almost deserted during the day although if you ask they will always go and find a girl for you. I did this once and she yawned endlessly! Best bet in Sanur I've found is number 18 down Circle K alley which seems to fire up by 4pm and possibly earlier.

Sweet 18 yr old
Found this sweet little 18 yr old hanging about a circle k in Denpasar and just got chatting to her 30 mins later the pictures show the results.
What a great BJ swallows the lot without losing a droplet and the service was very good pussy was so tight it hurt the little fella but once juiced up was heaven, and the icing on the cake was the price zero, she said she justs want to have some fun as her boyfriend has other girls so why should she not do same.
She said as I live in Bali that if I want to have fun with her and not get jealous then it be good as she said I love my boyfriend and want married him, so I hope the boyfriend keeps up his stable of girls then my freebies should continue.
So guys there is free stuff out there just takes a little luck or a bit hunting to source them.
Sorry about the quality of the pics but promise the next batch be done right.
Please do not ask phone number as she would not give me it and said she will contact me when she wants to play, up to now its been daily so lets hope it continues.
Have fun.

Monger Map
Is there a way to create a "sticky" link to the Google mongerer map and notes for Bali? Notes which explain its use with a gps smartphone app.
I think this is one of the best bits of the Bali forum and really valuable where the locations are spread out as in Bali.
(Contrast the location diversity to that of district density of that in places like Pattaya in Thailand and Angeles City in Philippines.)
