Same in the bar, half a shot with lots of soda is the norm.

Once they know they can pull the drink scam on you then they will conclude you're a loser in life and will be an easy John who is new to the game and will suck dry for all you have. However, for me personally it's more so the bar is spending money on real alcohol. I'm already not pleased paying over 200 baht for a single lady drink I want to make sure the bar makes as little as possible.

Probably true that many who only come here for holiday every now and then, may have difficulty assessing the age due to being distracted by the different 'exotic' appearance of Asians, as well as smaller body frame size. Same as farang who are not familiar with Asians, can not tell which one s Japanese, Filipina, Indo, North Chinese, South Chinese or Thai if a typical one of each is put to a row, they all look the same. But for someone like me with over two decades accross Asia they all look distinct.

This is obviously used by girls to their favor lying their age for the uninformed in trying to up their biz. With the help of thick makeup as an amplifier.

However, for vast majority of girls it is not that difficult to estimate the age bracket of say 5-6 years by looking at the skin around their eyes (after washing their face if too much makeup). Their skin get older just like for caucasians, as simple as that. Yes there are the exceptions who age slower (or faster) than a typical one, but same is true for caucasians also, and sometimes you can have a 35+ yr girl who looks like under 25 (esp if no kids, no smoke, no drink). But this is pretty rare.

Putting aside the smoke and mirrors of different appearance of asians and smaller body frame, I think their aging up to around 30-35 is about same as caucasians. However when the age train continues to move to 35+ and further, in my eyes their skin ageing speeds up compared to caucasians so that Thai women in general look older in their face at 40+ than caucasians.

This may not matter too much for mongers as this bracket is largely filtered out anyway from target group, but is a consideration for middle-aged guys who are considering settling with one in the house. Better choose one who is not much over 30 even if you are older yourself, otherwise you may have a grandma looking girl next to while you still have working system for action.
