Yes 500 baht is a generally accepted amount for a HJ. Customers who pay more don't know better or are thinking with the [I]little head[/I] at that moment.

Think total cost don't fixate on the ratio between massage and HJ. 900 baht total is about 24 euros or 27 USD how much would that service be in Europe?

I am with you. Call me cheap, but 500 baht for a HJ is too much. When I am in the LOS I get plenty of sex, wether it be Bangkok or Pattaya with regular GFs, although I usually have a 300 to 400 baht oil massage each day. Nearly always a HJ is on offer but unless I am feeling particularly horny, I decline and say "just massage" and point to the dick. I usually do not want to cum and waste my juice and prefer to save it for pussy. On the rare occasion I give in an let the masseuse finish me off to completion, I give 200 to 300 baht extra, depending on the girl.

In my opinion, 500 Baht is the going rate in Bangkok for a HJ (maybe 400 Baht is ok in some other cities). There is an implicit understanding between them and us that they will get 500 baht. If someone can negotiate for 200 or 300 baht in advance, that's perfectly fine with me. But to take the service without negotiation and then pay only 200-300, below the generally understood rate, is highly questionable behavior (if not paramount to stealing). I'm sure that some do it only because they don't know better, not because they are inherently evil.

But my ethics have nothing to do with "dirty" foreigners, or lack of insurance, or our salaries, or their need to support a family. There's no need to have a guilt trip and feel obliged to bring everyone else in the world up to your standard of living. It's just supply and demand. These girls would rather do this at the current rate than pick rice in a field all day for less, or whatever else choice they have.

Many of these girls don't have a choice in that their income provides basic living to an extended family. Many are from families of landless peasant farmers, from families where a parent has died, where they have children of their but a vanished husband. The job has some camaraderie with fellow workers but little else.

Before I get accused of being part of a bleeding hearts campaign. I am not. Just someone not interested in getting a cheap deal.

If you are seriously looking for a cheap charlie justification (that directly equates to effort) follow this logic:

Minimum wage is Thailand is 300 baht per day, or 30 Baht per hour.

The average HJ takes 10 minutes and is basically easy work, and unskilled labor.

So; at the minimum wage rate of. 5 baht per minute, the "fair and equitable" tip for a HJ [I][u]should be[/u][/I] 5 baht.

Unless you are a [I]quick cummer[/I] in which case it is ok to tip less.

If you are looking for party, drinking and FL's they are all great. If you can stand the music it is your best options in my opinion. But it is difficult to advice since we all have different taste. Personally I like Country Road and Penny Black in Soi Cowboy. It is down to earth and easy to find companions for a fun night. Unless you are a total miser you cannot fail in Bangkok!

Getting back to reality, the girl only uses one hand, not two and it's 2 or 300 baht that she would not otherwise receive.
