Day 3 Second Half and Asian-ness
In your case, you will be getting a lot of attention, not only because your Asian, but also because you like smoking hooch, a Colombian thing to do. Brush up on your Spanish and before you know it you will have a whole stable of El Centro SW's offering back door services that will be ready and waiting for you.
In reality, I have gotten significantly less looks than I routinely got in places in Spain or Morocco which has made my experience here extremely satisfying. On the few occasions where I got a look from, the stares were very short and amounted to nothing, except for the times where they just wanted a hit from my joint, which as a pothead, feels gratifying lmao. Yes, a few very friendly taxi drivers asked why China eats rats, entirely out of curiosity no malicious body language or voice. Explained it as well as I can, wish I had the chance the try to give real feedback LOL. I also look fuckin ridiculous young.
Example, after the two botero girls, banged another Venezuelan Hoe of PP, she initially was quite hesitant as my profile picture and real face don't exceed age of 16 no matter how I try. She asked to see my "cedula" when I arrive in incall, first picture. 80 mil for hour 2 leches, 1 x in ass, 1 x in vagin. Cheapest backdoor action I found outside deez streets, tipped her 20 mil for chupa sin condom, she's not perfect in the face but certainly a goooood fuck.
Got done, went to Don Diablo steakhouse in Poblado, huge recommend for dry age steak lovers. Decided to hit up Fase Dos, to see how bad the hoes can get. Arrived at the club, I see older gringos getting a lot of attention from girls. Nobody, I mean, nobody gave me any looks to try to get me to fuck them. Until picture-2, Isabella from Cali, bothered to talk to me, after showing her my NYC cedula, came a huge wave of curiosity as they all thought I really ain't suppose to be there lmao. She was real friendly with me as far as giving me public lap dances and letting me plant on face on her booty while setting at the chairs by the bar. Decided I had to taste that asshole, so went for the motel experience. No anal tho as expected. 250 mil, 40 more because I used a card, should of brought a tit more cash but whatever's. This chick was plenty wet, hot and ready. I'the have to say, tho she bad, not sure if it's worth the money here in Colombia. I plant to scour deez streets again to really try to look for the baddd once, knowing this city thus far, it's not out of the question.
I asked both putas de calle from the AM to see why they don't work in casas, both said fuck the money split between her pussy and the pimp essentially. So I'the like to think that hoes work the venues they are close to and work every situation they can. I have also been very local with my attires, skinny jeans and a v-neck, deep physical pockets on side of v-neck as hidden pockets, and carry a fake wallet with only small bills for mug-bait and would wait until my back is to an electronic store in Centro before whipping out my iPhone6, I give nooo papaya, never gave it. It's like survival strategy just travelling anywhere especially in cities.
Paris for example, is no cake walk some parts and some hours just like Medellin.
As far as Spanish, I'the say I'm comfy asking hoes exactly what I want done, sexual positions (en Quattro etc) and can negotiate, but once we get to the motel it becomes a game of typing into translator for small talk. I crave the talking between me and the locals as much as I craved the inner walls of their assholes. It's going to be heavy Spanish learning when I back, let's see how it spans out this trip and how much I manage to retain.
Conclusion: I think I've been getting less bad vibes on deez streets cause I don't give of the horny man vibe, more like a lost boy wandering these streetz, I can continue to blend in and move in the shadows but as many pointed out, if you get targeted, it's just your day to give it up, chinos, gringos, rolos, paisa's alike if a robber sized up something to be gained, that dear old papaya.
*can't upload another picture, feels like a bug will try on next report.
Estratos and Colombian Society Lecture
All due respect Surfer, but most thieves aren't smart.
However, if we want to stick with the "large, white, dark haired, tan gringos are easily mistaken for Colombians" story, I have a question or two. I fit that description and I don't believe anyone ever thought I was Colombian. There was 1 Dutch backpacker who tried to ask me directions in very poor Spanish. He admitted he didn't think I was Colombian, but he wasn't sure.
Question 1: How does a large gringo (part of the original description) pass for Colombian? Even at my skinniest, I'm still 40# heavier and 6" taller than practically everyone in Colombia. I've also never seen a Colombian in my age range who even vaguely resembles me..
I can pass as a Colombian and have been told so by other Colombians as long as my mouth is shut. When I am in El Centro I dress like a local, tattered blue jeans and worn out T-shirt. I don't wear sun glasses or carry a bottle of water around with me, and whether I am in an Estrato 1 or 6 I fly under the radar with my mouth shut. So I consider myself less of a target than an obvious gringo but not immune.
In regards to Colombians paying attention to a person's Estrato, this is very true but not in the sense your suggesting. What I call "Classism" exists in Colombia, I have witnessed it first hand on many occasions. Two examples include once when I was with one of my Amigas in Provenza, she was asked by a Colombian couple we meet which part of town she was from and when she told them (Paris) they immediately gave her the cold shoulder as that is an Estrato 1/2 part of town compared to where this couple lived. Another example includes when I was looking at a property in Poblado and the real estate agent had brought along an attorney. When I asked the attorney about Bellen across the river and west of Poblado he made a remark about those people who live in that part of town. In both of these occasions I was with other friends who witnessed and heard what I had heard and later remarked on it. It's identical to racism, but based on class, and with Colombia having a system whereby the wealthy subsidize the poor, perhaps that's why it exists. As an example, when you go to get cable service say in CLARO, they will have a chart of fees based on Estrato. There is also a sliding scale for heath care and utilities.
I know none of this matters for most, but the point is, Colombians wouldn't even be thinking about what a gringo's Estrato is.
