Most ISGers do not frequent Pat Pong area at all. Many bars are rip-off joints and you might get an unexpected bill. Experienced punters went there many years ago and got tired of it, certainly all the rip off type places. Most ISGers will know nothing about the "The Strip" or why you need to go there. You should try some of the recommended venues on this forum first, till you get more accustomed to Bangkok.

Okay They may have had some lookers at some point in time (or even now), but most of us are not in a dying hurry to get there. You can't believe all the photos on their web site. I did not even look at their website preferring to see what Stickman had to say. By all means explore for yourself and report back. Try to try lots of different things. Don't get too focussed on any one place, least of all Pat Pong area. Browse a lot of recommended places, and see what works for you.

You can fuck girls from many well kknown bars in Soi Cowboy and Nana. Some bars even have rooms upstairs you can use for a quick session. If not there are "short-time" hotels near by. Then there are the threads here that recommend many porn star type massage parlours.

The sting operation:

Bangkok police arranged for a couple of Farangs (possibly Farang Police "do good-ers") to carry out their discriminatory policies. Girls are not free to make their own choices about how they work if they fall into certain categories. Yet these girls need to make a living and were doing so of their own free will. They are not slaves. Its just a job. Mostly they have plenty of sex experience so they would like to sell it.

So the Farangs arrived, pretending to be customers, and sought out the girls in the categories discriminated against, in particular, appearing to be a bit warped I guess. The Farangs bar fined the girls pretending they would be taken to Hotels for sex fun, but instead were taken to the Thai Police. So the advance party were not the Thai Police. Thai Police probably arrived later.

Some of these girls have parents to support, or children to support, but their livelihood is being taken away. They are probably forced onto the streets to work as freelancers, exposing them to significantly more danger.

Of course this causes a hatred of Farangs to start up, and none of us will be fully trusted any more unless we are well known to the bar.

[/QUOTE]I agree with Syzgies's advice. Start with Cowboy and Nana Go Go's recommended here on the forum. There is a reason why these places are well reviewed (CH, Baccara, SW, Shark, RB4, RB3, Mandarin, and Mercury).

That said, I decided to go barhoping on Patpong 2 one night in March 2015. It had been more than 10 years since I was last in a Patpong bar, but I was beginning to hear good things about a couple of establishments so I decided to check it out.

The 1st bar I went to was Bada Bing and it was by far the best bar of the night. The line up was very good. I am sure this joint would be very popular if it was located on Cowboy. As it was, they had some customers that appeared to be regulars and the vibe was laid back, but very friendly. An attractive, thin, tall, blond dancer smiled a she walked past where I was sitting and I invited her over for a drink. She was very friendly and sexy, if you know what I mean and I liked her, but then I made the mistake of the night: I did not barfine her! This later turned out to be my big 2015 regret, 555, because I think she would have been fine. Anyway, after a couple of rounds of Tequila, I made some dumb excuse like I had to see a friend or something and I told her I would come back to see her another night which I never got around to doing and which I deeply regret. Next, I went across the street to Electric Blue. This bar reminds me of Shark Bar on Cowboy a little with a similar layout and somewhat equal level of talent.
