I told them this policy of theirs would hurt theri business.

SeaAir offers several flights daily. You should not have any trouble booking
while you are there thru the airline or a booking agent.

Yea, on "SOME" routes. Who knows which they could be.

Last week I was at a $200 a night onsen resort and the place was half full of Koreans.

Hmm, some people here at PI ISG call me abrasive and argumentive, but I don't call in half the bullshit I read here (PuteN is quoted, but my rant is not directed at him).

Someone was recently saying that the decline of the won (K money) will result in fewer Koreans in AC. Ummm, if they are filling up $200 dollar a night resorts in Japan, does anyone really think they will cancel trips to the Philippines?

Hmmm, the very first post by Leo Daniels is hyping a company.

I like SEAir too, but it was a couple of years ago when I flew them to Borocay. I like the idea that one of the owners has the same last name as the airplane...his grandfather.

There is a bigger "small" airline that competes with them, but I don't remember the name off hand.

Well, KL(M) Dutch Airlines has raised prices to most destinations in Asia, including Manila. KL has raised prices about 25% over the past year (average). KL is, incidentally, the ONLY European carrier still servicing Manila. The others have left the (unpaid) building :D

I partly agree with this. My point was just that there could be interesting dynamics. I was not predicting the "fall of AC" beacuse of the global economy. (That's something the filipinos might be able to pull off though.)

Inflations has hit asia hard this year even with the decline of the won AC is still a bargin for the Korean ,if you go mongering in Seoul will cost 5 time more than in AC you can still get a round trip from Seoul to AC on Asiana for 160 usd .

I have not experienced any problems using an Australian-issued Visa card with either of these airlines. PAL approval over the Internet seems virtually instantaenous, and Cebu Pacific's not far behind.

Generally, Cebu Pacific's fares are cheaper, though it cancelled one flight I recently booked, substituing one two days later. I cancelled, booked with PAL, and will now wait for more than 60 days for Cebu Pacific to recredit my credit card.

We were a big group nd booked fligts with Sea Air, Cebu Pavific and Pal. All about the same time. Pal cancelled several of their flights and transferred them to the last flight. With the cot fuel, this is going to be a regular thing.
