If you buy a ticket on Cebu Pacific, using your credit card, in someone else's name, the ticket belongs to her. If you decide to cancel, you will not get a refund. What you will get is a 60 day travel credit under the travelers name. You cannot use that credit.
Basically, if you had bought a ticket, just kiss it goodbye. Absoluely nothing you can do to get anything. Now you need to decide you want Cebu Pacific to have to money or give a travel credit to the girl.
I learnt this the hard way boys!

Simple and easy to emailthem the ticket etc. Last girl I invited to Manila had never been on a plane before so I had to tell her all that happens. She was as excited as hell and it worked out great in terms of her appreciation. She's since made 3 trips courtesy of CP and always everything was fine.
