No, regular Joe Q Citizens don't get stopped at the airport and their data inspected. If someone is getting stopped, it's because they have done something to be on Border Control's radar. It wasn't a "random" search.

OTOH, I'd guess that its just a matter of time. I would guess that eventually, as with other measures taken at NAIA, the 'bigs' will require such from various countries.

I was there in Dec, via NIAA, and didn't encounter any checks or questions. I'll be visiting again next month, I will report anything unusual, as well as any interesting encounters. Yes it could well be people already on their radar.

Never had a bag checked and just herded through customs like cattle by officialdom who'd rather be somewhere else, if it wasn't for the money.

I work with a cute, educated Filipina in Australia and mentioned to her way back, "Gee, they must betting a lot of drugs and stuff into the country as the customs are so slack".

She said, "We're an island country. They bypass the high security at airports and get everything by boat. " Which made sense.

I'd be more worried about your devices getting checked upon your return to you home country.

I own a lingerie business and do a lot of photo shoots while in The Phils. Most of our lingerie is crotchless, so there's some very revealing photo's on my laptop, phone and camera after each visit. I always get the 'models' to sign a model release form. Obviously they don't understand the legals, but I try to explain it and slip them 100 p extra for their signature (templates are easily found online.).

For anyone reading, keep in mind, that any images of any girl that looks remotely underage, will get you into deep shit, and rightly so.

A Bumble chick that caretakes for an older guy (lord I hope it ain't OldAndUgly) was supposed to come by at 7 pm. I hit her up asking where she was and no answer. At 7:45 she hit me back saying the power went off and her phone was dead. Too late.

My backup had already arrived. SM Call center chick that lives like 2 hours away. She does not work until 1 am but has to come extra early everyday before the jeepney stops running. She said she was really tired. They have places for them to sleep at work, but I told her she can come sleep here. She asked about sex and I said never know.

When she came in I had her take off her clothes to get in bed. Like 2 seconds later we were fucking. Then we both fell off to sleep and woke up at 11:30 pm and fucked again. I walked with her as far as Jolibee then she went towards SM and me towards Red Street. (She will come back in the morning at 10 am when she gets off work.).

I was just looking for something to eat. Stopped and looked at the Menu at Hamer but decided to go to The Best Cafe, or whatever the place with the French name is. I sat there 3 hours eating, taking care of some business online, and people watching. From my perspective there were plenty of people out. I decided to call it a night at 3 am.

I took a walk down Red Street before going to my hotel. Pretty much everything was shut down. I think maybe 2 or 3 bars were still open. The streets were bare, which made me believe my earlier perspective of plenty of people being out was wrong. I was sitting at the restaurant and made the assumption from from several groups of chicks and several guys with their dates for the night entering, along with the several chicks I saw entering Mega Dancs next door. Whatever the case, it was way more people than I saw last month during the continuous rain.

I headed back the other way to my hotel. For the folks interested, there were about 15 guys dressed up as women crouching in a circle in the street right past Phillies. It literally smelled like armpits and assholes when I walked past them. I stopped a little ways up deciding to use my Samsung Scumbag Zoom to take a picture of them. A damn trike driver kept calling out to me pestering drawing attention while I was trying to be on the sly. Reminded me of the scene in Friday when Smokey was trying to take a shit on the side of the house and Ezell kept hollering out talking to him. Why can't they learn that when a mf says no the first time to go on about their business?

Maybe about 5 years pre-Covid, they went through my camera coming back to the USA The question went something like whether I had any pornography on me, which to the agent must've meant self-produced but I thought he meant in the more general sense (downloads, stuff produced by others). I said no. I had pictures of some of the girls I had been with, but no nudes.

Maybe it was a random check or something they were doing at the time. I'm sure that coming back from Thailand had a lot to do with being selected. Fortunately that's the only time that's happened and it hasn't again in quite a few chances since.
