I wonder if anyone, by pure luck, recently met a lady named Wan, dyed blond, about 32, about 5'4", thin, decent English? I met her in Insanity, Soi 12, about 18 months ago. She was with her sister.

Fon, good looking, about 5'8", thin, very poor English. I tried calling her in April but her number was defunct. I'll be in Bangkok again in Jan. And would like to meet up with her again. Thanks for any.

Today two ladies took me to Hillary 1 Pool sports bar in Soi 4. Seemed to be relatively busy but hard to understand what the customers see in this place.

Firstly the owner likes older women. There are avery large number of lady staff. More than necessary I think, as most are not young. Not got good bodies and not beautiful. Do customers want to buy drinks for these ladies and entertain them?

Sports on TVs but playing music. Music is really old ok for expats. Staff get paid a pitance of 90 Baht per day and then so much per drink ordered. This is first problem. Causes annoying behaviour of varios girls asking me if I want another drink when first one is half full. After 4 girls it gets boring. I want peace to talknto girls I am with.

Finally I finished drink and my girls had already had abother round so I ordered Coke Light with waitress. She then asked if I wanted Vodka. WTF? Apparently she is a really stupid member of staff. I had said Coke Light clearly more than once. So I gave up on her. I guess she never heard of it. Not new staff.

Soon I was thinking better to check bill and leave. We went elsewhere to eat.

I never had any issues at Stumble Inn down the road which has better looking girls (some) better waitresses, and no one pestering me to buy another drink before I am ready. Girls in Stumble Inn get a salary and commision only for there own drinks. The normal way works better.

Whenever I type a report, the text does not wrap around. Instead it keeps going. I realise that when published it will look normal. However, many will think otherwise, hence they will put in hard returns so it looks normal on their screen. You might want to look in to it.

These younger and cuter girls I can no longer afford. I think in a few years when I come back to Rainbow 4, 6000 may become the ST fee. It was a bit harder getting these rates in SC but it was possible.

The problem is market economics will always win, and for as long as some idiot will pay, the girls will continue to inflate their prices. I'm getting more and more messages like these and the result is that I'm not planning to return to Thailand any time soon. I can get better quality and better value pussy elsewhere now.

It also changes words or letters that we type. Result is worse than original text.

I mean to say, do we need to show photo ID / passport at entry to places like clubs, bars, Oilies, soapies, etc in Bangkok?

If yes is it safe to carry original passport with one in these places in the dark when you are drunk. I would prefer to keep these things in safe of my hotel room rather, if not mandatory?

Any expert guidance?

In case they do ask to see some ID, will they accept a copy? I have no idea, as it never has happened to me.

As a law-abiding citizen of Belgium, I *always* carry official ID whenever I go outside, so it has become kind of "automatic" to have my passport with me at all times. Is it risky? I do not think so, but bening obviously drunk and in "dark corners" will increase the risk for sure. (although I must confess I have never been drunk, so I cannot really appreciate the effects of drunkeness on your awareness of your surroundings).

The only times you will have to show your passport is at immigration and some banks may ask to take a copy of your passport when exchanging money. And recently it has been reported you must show some ID when you buy a local SIM card.

The AIS store is located on the top floor along with other Mobile stores (Samsung / Nokia).

In the last two years, they ALWAYS asked for my Passport. In fact, one time I forgot to carry my Passport and they did not budge. I had to walk all the way back to my Hotel to get my Passport.

It is possible that this store is more strict because it is a Company owned store. But now it has become a habit and I always carry my Passport when I have to buy a SIM card.

~BKKguru.[/QUOTE]All new to me. I've visited LOS 3 times in the last 2 years and on each occasion I bought a SIM card at the DTAC store in Suvarnabhumi Airport arrivals. I've wasn't asked for ID on any occasion. Only Baht.

No identification needed. Can be extended in 7/11's. Mayby not anymore, I'll find out in next month.
