FKK Artemis - Berlin

Note: you have to change once at least. Red-coulored ticket vending machines on platform.

There are regional trains from Zoo station to Flughafen Schoenefeld station as well. Zoo station is just a short three station ride from Westkreuz station, take any S-Bahn eastbound from Westkreuz station. IMHO it's more convenient, but you have to catch the 05. 04 am departure from Zoo station, otherwise that option won't fit your needs.

Riding by cab will take you approx 20 minutes on a Saturday morning via freeway A100 / A113. Fee 30 Euro or so.

I do this all the time. If you leave at 5/5:15 in the morning you will pay something around 35E and get there in 15/20 min.

But If your plane leaves at 8:00 you will have to hang around a bit, my usually leaves around 6:30 and I still have to wait a little bit.

You should stay in Artemis till closing time at 5 am And then use the S-Bahn. Go to the nearby station "Westkreuz", its a walk of 5 minutes from Artemis. The trains are running every 7 till 12 minutes, also at 5 am In the morning You will arrive roundabout 45 minutes later at the Airport station Berlin-Schönefeld. You have to pay 2. 30 Euro. To use the taxi is stupid, you will need almost same time to arrive there and will surely pay more than 50 Euros. Save your money!

These can be picked up at other stations. The web site also gives details of the ticket machines. The new machines with the red front are multi lingual including english.

If you take the Ring S-Bahns going east, from the SudKreuz SudBahnhoff Station, there is a direct bus that takes you right to the airline terminal in Scheiss Schoenefeld. Saves a silly long walk from the SXF train station, and is quicker and more reliable. I still hate this airport, will miss Tegel when it is shut in June, and sure hope the train connection to the new Meisterwerk airport is better than what is now. Once it took me 1. 5 hrs to get from there to my flat in Schoenberg using the S-Bahn-longer than the flight.

Hi all, I am hoping to go to Artemis 3/4 March, so was wondering if there are suggestions for a good (nice quality 4/5 star) hotel that is near to Artemis and also good for some sightseeing during the day.

Both great hotels 5 and 4 stars respectively and in the middle of the city ith good returns, sights and shopping. There is not much around Artemis except the Exhibition grounds. Both hotels are €10 by taxi if you do not take the subway.

Kents, I'd agree with John Corey as stayed at the Swisshotel and the Ku'dam shopping. Easy to find Artemis by subway and short walk.

For a great hotel near the sights I stayed at the 5* Mandala at Potzdamerplatz

I have been told by a Turkish girl in Artemis in one of my previous visits that the club becomes very crowded in case there are some Messe in Berlin. I checked the schedule of January; 20-22 weekend when I plan to visit Berlin and unfortunately observed that there will be 4-5 Messe in Berlin. Does anybody have an idea? I do not want to wait for 30 min to enter a FKK and do not want to be with 100 guys in such place!

Can anybody give an info on that?

And, sorry, but usually there are more than hundred guys every f**king weekend nite.

Great experience as always. The 90 degree sauna seemed to have gone through a bit of a makeover. Spotted a few new, delicious looking beauties that I'd like to try out in due time. The club felt a little light on the number of girls (especially those from Eastern Europe) but nothing unmanageable. I expect the numbers to rapidly go back to normal next week.
