I was at Insanity just last week at 4:00 AM on a Thursday. Climax always closes around 3-3:30 but has seen it go till 4:00 AM. Depends on the crowd.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Very difficult to get to the Suk area from there and expensive by taxi, back and forth.

Hearing it's closing at 4 am is new to me because last time they were closing probably around 230 with not many customers in March when I was there last.

The Pharacha suites has a non refundable buy it now price of $54 for both February and May. I did notice that some of the cheaper hotels that normally charge $30 per night in May are asking for $48.

As to the tourist situation, I'm hoping that the hunt for talent isn't too strained with the extra guys on the prowl. I'm guessing though that staying close to the gogo's (Areca by LK metro, Phara by Nana) I'll avoid needing to grab taxi's to and from the clubs.

RL.[/QUOTE]Khao San road is a dump for young people back packers. Advise to stay near corner of Sukhumvit and Asoke for first few days.

If stay in Khao San road, girls won't want to go with you to there. You can use ST hotels in Suk area.

As an experienced person, if I wanted to get to Sukhumvit from Khao San, I would catch a motorcycle to the canal ferry wharf and go to Asoke or Nana Ferry wharf by long tail boat then motorcycle from there. Return late at night by taxi is OK say 30 minutes,. But slow taxi trip in traffic, say 45 minutes to an hour in daytime, maybe more.

There are buses from Khao San road or catch no. 508 from Sao Ching Cha. Get motorcycle to there or walk there 1 km.

Hopefully you decide against Khao San for first few days. Its not even close to Silom.

There is very low class action in China town. Sao Botan is a Soapy only half way to Sukhumvit. Not many stunners there. Plenty of older girls. Chao Praya 3 is on other side of Chao Praya river.

February has no Buddha holidays so drinking and monger wise there is less disturtion.
