I fell in love with a girl at a steam bath once. She was tiny, cute with the softest baby skin and 19 years old. The only 10 with a perfect sweet body. For the entertainment we seek, I don't think Korea is such a good place next to Japan. It is costly for the services compared to what we can get in other countries, and in many cases it is much more expensive than U.S.

I can't comment on Itaewon, cause I simply do not go there. Many Koreans think Itaewon Hills is for old worn out hookers and bunch of drunken GIs. No offense to GIs. With the same impression, I don't go to Dongduchon either.

What kind of entertainments are available in Korea? There are so many. Miari, 588, Yongsan, Barbor shops, Room Salons, Dalran junum, Steam bath, Yongjoo-Gol, Yellow House in Incheon(Airport), JJ Mahony at Hayatt, Sinchon for college girls, popura march in Pusan, and some places in Daejon. And each types of entertainment has sub categories by price, service and locations. For example, most of Dalran Jujums are KTVs while some are KTVs with crazy shows that you will never see in Thailand or any other countries.

Some do accept foreigners, and others do not. I sometimes take my foreign friends to some of those places, and get kicked out cause they do not accept foreigners. If you are an Asian (Japan and China, Taiwan, HongKong), you have much higher chance. However, if you are white, black, south east Asian, and Arab, chances get much slimer. I recommend to stick with those places that accept foreigners such as Steam bath. Otherwise, try them with Korean friends besides you.

I've been to Amsterdam, and I have often heard that 588 is pretty much the same shit. just the standard for about the same price as amsterdam. how does 588 compare to amsterdam besides the obvious such as 588 not being very foreigner friendly. I have korean verbal capability of a kyopo who was raised in the states. Do you think that will be sufficient enough to pass as a korean. I look quite Korean.

Take subway #6 (orange) from Itawon and head north. Get out on #638. Go south for about 3-4 blocks. I don't have the exact address, but if you're in Seoul, you can pick up a map from any hotel.

I've been a lurker here for a few months now, and thought I'd pass on my limited experience in Seoul so far.

I lived in Korea in the late 80's, and just started to return this past fall. Things have changed considerably!

When I lived here before, I would hang out in the non-juicy bars in Itaewon. Sportsman's club rings a bell. Anyway- most of the time I'd meet semi-pro's there. But, I usually had to work at it to meet non-pro's. It my last three trips now (as seoulmate as mentioned), I've meet regular Korean women. This was a nice surprise to say the least.

In fact, I've been approached every time by several women. I speak survival Korean meaning that I can roam about and hold intro conversations, but I can't hold a lengthy one. So, the girl will start out in English and I let it flow. It's fun to hear her talking to her friends about me. :-) Anyway, I've hit the normal bars in Itaewon about five times now (weekday and weekends). I've taken a girl back to the hotel four of the times for the entire night. Only one of them played shy at the hotel. The others knew what they wanted, and we had fun the entire night.

Now I admit that these girls don't look like A row girls. They're average to above average usually, and they're usually in their late 20's to mid 30's. This is fine with me since I'm in my mid 30's.

This approach is probably not economical in terms of time, and even sometimes money. You buy them a few normally priced drinks, and sometimes go out for food. But, I just look at it like a date.

Anyway this has just been my experience so far. I haven't checked out the turkish baths or any of the pay for play fun yet since I much prefer the long time, and if I'm going to pay I want an A row quality girl.

I should also add that the cute ones usually travel in packs, and it is best to have a friend with you when you go after them.
