Detailed report of Nha Trang.

Post 1.

After a frustrating time in Hanoi, I headed south in the knowledge that Nha Trang would provide some good action.

Checked into Phu Quy 2 Hotel: Address: 01 Tue Tinh street, Nha Trang right opposite the beach.

The porter/security helped with my bags to the room and upon exiting he enquired as to whether I might be interested in a good time girl. Bingo! Literally been in Nha Trang for 5 mins and already things were looking positive.

I had arranged to meet a friend so wasn't able to take up the offer immediately, but made a note of his name for later that night.

After a quick dinner with my friend I asked her to come to the room for a look at the view, but damn was stopped by a different security guy who advised no girls upstairs. After a bit of a heated chat with him and then the night manager and as my friend was getting more and more embarrassed I gave up trying to get her in and said good night to her.

Upstairs for a shower and then out again in search of some action. As I walk out the hotel I notice the original security guy so advise him I've got a problem in my room and ask him to come and have a look. In my room I try and work out how he can offer me a girl, when the manager doesn't allow girls. Ah ha. Here's the catch, the manager doesn't allow girls in, unless they are arranged through the hotel.

After a bit of negotiation he agreed to send a nice one up for Vnd600K for a short time. Negotiated down from $900K I think. Since I wasn't in the mood to look at other options I took the deal.

20mins later a young but average looking girl comes into the room. I was about to reject her but communication was a problem and before I knew it she was already in the shower.

She told me she was 19, but unfortunately had a kid and was a little chunky so my interest waned significantly.

Anyway, did the deed pretty quickly and got rid of her.

Next day went for a walk around the hotel and discovered a massage centre located at

86B Tran Phu St, Nha Trang

It was around 3pm but ventured into the basement to be met by three very eager and smiling guys ready to assist and make me feel at home.

First was served some tea and ginger and then we discussed prices.

Vnd200K for a sauna, spa and massage. It was quite an upmarket setting, with each room being fully self contained with it's own sauna and spa. Then I asked about the girls. From what I could gather they normally don't let you choose, but in this case they showed my 3 or 4 girls in their waiting room. Once again the quality wasn't the best, but there was another young one in a mini skirt and decent breasts so chose her. Virtually zero English, so for starters I just went with the flow and enjoyed the sauna and a bit of a massage.

After 20 mins of so massage we get to the negotiation stage and I made it clear I only wanted a BJ, no HJ. Anyway the negotitations went on with pen and paper starting at US$50. She was a hard bargainer and so was I, it was a BJ for $200K or nothing for me. Everytime she tried just to perform HJ, I stopped her and said no, not interested.

After quite a while I thought we had reached a stalemate, but I guess she thought there is a good chance she will get no tip from me at all as I was becoming more and more pissed off with the situation.

Finally she started a tentative BJ and Mr Happy awoke from his sleep. Even during the BJ she would stop and continue to bargain with hand signals, but I was having none of that crap. In the end I gave her vnd$250K.

Back at the hotel that night, I received a call at 11pm from security asking how many people were in the room. I told him only 1, so then he asks me about good time girl. I declined this time.

I continue my search the next day and found:

It has a large massage sign outside as shown in the attached photos.

Once again I ventured in with the feeling of anticipation of the unknown. Walking past the hotel reception I wonder if they actually have any guests other than those coming for a massage as the whole hotel seemed deserted.

Wow, 2 mega cuties on the massage desk and I was rearing to go, esp since the entrance price is only Vnd70K. But, these 2 don't do massage despite my attempts to offer a good tip. They are the bait girls as I was later to find out.

I wanted to see the girls before signing up but the only deal I could get was that I could change girls up to 3 times.

Ok, what the hell, let's try.

Rejct 1, Reject 2. Had to reluctantly take the 3rd.

By that time I wasn't interested in any extras so just took the lame massage and left.

Went back another day to see if the reception girls would jump across, but still no. So, from that point on the Ban Me Hotel lived up to its name and I banned it from me!

And what you wrote above about how after 20 mins of massage the negotiation stage began. What an awful experience, how totally unrelaxing that must have been. I'd enjoy more at home with my computer and my hand than what you've described. And I can tell it was miserable for you as well. This clearly shows the limitations, the great limitations of Vietnam for the uninitiated. This place can really be a monger's nightmare.

That night I went for another walk to see what I could find and figured enlisting the help of one of countless motorbike touts would help smooth things along, despite the fact that I would have to pay for it.

The night was still early, families out eating etc and I was approached by a guy who advised of some full service place for vnd200K + a vnd10K tip for him.

When I asked how far he said very close, so I took the chance and went with him.
3 Minutes later we went into a massage place I had walked past numerous times already but wasn't 100% sure what was going on there as noboday actually tried to get me to enter.

The address is:

1/39 Tran Quang Khai which is on the corner of another street (photo's enclosed).

My guess is this is one of the Cat Toc places that people talk about.
Lot's of girls here, but then it seemed it was just massage + extra's but no guarantee of FS, so I refused to partake and said I wanted 'boom boom' only.

Back on the bike and we go back toward to beach a couple of hundred meters to another shop on the opposite side of the road.

I don't have the exact address, but it on the left hand side of the Silk and Silver shop. Probably about 10 Tran Quang Khai St with dark black glass windows.

Inside there were at around 10 girls just sitting around, most very hot and very doable.

Then I saw her !! First I just saw her from the side and then she turned around, my heart started beating faster and was gobsmacked by her looks. Slim, young,long black hair and a porcelain face that could be a model if life had dealt her another set of cards, instead of working in a dingy brothel.

At this point I would have paid anything for her, but to my surprise it was Vnd300K for the works according to the boss.

I asked her age in the room (well it wasn't a room, just a partition within a room) and she said "hai muey mot" 21. Hmm Ok if she says so.

The allocated section of the room was a dump. A single massage table with a partition that went 3/4 of the way to the ceiling. There were about 4 of these partitions within the room. It was sensory overload, standing there in this dive of a place with probably close to most flawless beauty I have ever had. The nice guy in me said I couldn't go ahead with it but in the end I succumbed to temptation and tried to ignore my surroundings and started to undress.

That was until "Vlad" arrived in an adjoining cubicle. I'll call him Vlad as he was a big Russion bear of a man with a booming voice and equally loud sex noise.

I was totally distracted while he pounded away on a poor helpless thing and couldn't really savor the moment with my sweetheart.

I finally got most of her clothes off and was even more impressed and really just wanted to run away with her out of that hovel and into a nice hotel bed.

It seems there is no take away at this shop so I had to continue with my eat in meal. Well tonight it wasn't the full course, but had to be content with a small entree as I could not really deal with the situation too well.

I finished up about the same time as Vlad and we crossed paths on the way down the rickety stairs.

There were at least 5 other girls in the waiting room I wanted to take up and try, but to be true to my sweetheart I walked outside where my motorbike pimp was waiting for me.

Even though my hotel was only a few mins walk away, I hoped back on the pimp's bike to be taken home. But instead of dropping my off at the hotel, he pulled into the beachside area and as I got off the bike I noticed another bike had pulled in with him. I knew 10K was going to be too little so I started to give him 30K and at that point he said 200K !!

I told him he had said 10K and since he gave me a lift back I ws going to give him a tip. He told me now it was 200K as I went to a different shop and then the other guy started to surround me as well. Now these Viet guys are small and I'm towering over them so that gave me a lot more confidence to stand my ground but that last thing I wanted to do was get into a nasty situation.

The discussion became quite heated and there were plenty of people walking past so I thought not too much could happen. I started just to walk back to the hotel and the other guy tried to block the path. At that point I went to the back of the pimps bike and pretended to make a note of the number plate and said "khach sach" which I hope means police.

He tried to stand in front of the number plate, but then I persisted and then got out my mobile and faked to take a picture. My bluff worked and he caved in and then started smiling, just joking etc. I threw 50K at him and walked away, then other guy then was looking for a tip as well, to which I started swearing at him and just went back to the hotel.

That night I couldn't stop thinking about the girl that I had seen and the overall experience of the evening.

I went back to see her 3 more times over the course of the next 3 days, the sex was below average, the setting was disgusting, there was no BJ,kissing or anything even close to a mind blowing experience, however I will never forget the few brief encounters I shared with that natural beauty.

My only regret is not being to get any photos of her.

Motorcycle drivers may be usefull in vietnam, but such problems sometimes happen (sometimes worst than what happened to you). My tip is if you want to use a motorcycle driver, ask your hotel portier to introduce to you one he knows, it will keep you out of trouble.

Late report, but I haven't seen much attention to Hoi An. I was there last October with my wife for a getaway weekend. She wanted to see all the artists and have some dresses made. Fine by me. I enjoyed the pool, but got regularly distracted by the local talent.

Anyway, airline lost our luggage so I took our travel clothes across the street for laundry service after buying a bathing suit at the hotel lobby. Two choices for the laundry service.- ugly mammasan with good prices or hottie who kept winking at me behind my wife's back. Ouch, babycakes, you're killing me!

Well, I let my wife take the shuttle to town for shopping and figured I would "pick up the laundry" but got there a little early. My Vietnam Hottie offered a "massagee" while I waited behind the closed confines of a bedsheet hanging in front of a massage table.

I got an excellent legit massage for 45min but pointed out my tensest point when she flipped me over. I dropped my suit, and she gave me a hot oil dickrub to kill for. Weirdest part of the HJ was a simultaneous ball and groin massage that had me spurting coconut milk like a volcano when it all finished up. $10USD for the whole deal, and I dropped a $3 tip.

Not sure where FS is available in Hoi An, but great HJ w the massage. So good, I went back for more even after balling my wife the next night. Happy Anniversary, Honey!

This is my first post on this forum. I have been a lurker for quite some time and could not resolve myself to enter the arena. I will for this first post relate recent experienced in Vung Tau. Only a few hours away from Saigon one enjoys clean air, reasonable traffic and an extensive as well as relaxed mongering scene. Vung Tau has dozens of bars of various quality. Quality is depending on the quality and mood of the staff as well as of that of the customer. If upon entering the bar you don’t find the atmosphere to be to your liking, don’t hesitate turn around a go to the next one.

So last week, I went to one of my favourites, at the very beginning of the beach front coming from the ferry terminal. Last visits had been very enjoyable with good and hearty talent, this time however, cold as ice. After some good will and buying a couple of lady drinks, cut my losses and moved on.

The first street to the right, Nguyen Trai, on the left hand side is one bar after another; the first one I entered was not attractive at all, so immediate U-turn to the door and entered next one called Hot Lips.

Atmosphere was heartening right from the start. Took a seat, ordered a drink, considered the talent, alright it was, nothing exceptional, but a few were smiling and quite good. Sent the first lady back and retained the next one for a drink. Moods fit well from both sides, second and third drink. Agreed for an overnight at my nearby located hotel. Start at 1am such as to avoid the bar fine, which was set quite heavy at 10 lady drinks at 55 000 Dongs.

My initial feeling proved itself correct, I received a memorable treatment with massage and multiple shots. Damage :1 million dongs.

During the time waiting for my date to join my hotel, I had time to visit another neighbouring bar called “The Monkey Bar” Many girls there, very few clients that late on a Sunday night. One girl caught my attention, We had a drink, very nice, cute and cheeky. I would have booked her had I not been engaged with the earlier lady.

Vung Tau is a good place to practice hobby with a great choice of bars, “The Red Parrot”, “The Black Cats” can be mentioned as places of reference, and many welcoming hotels at different rates.

Not sure about your directions. The first street on the right from the ferry is Truong Cong Dinh and it has the Monkey Bar and another in front of a crappy hotel with an even crappier massage place. Actually the massage place is OK if you want extras but forget the massage. The other bars are at the first corner.

Interested in your comment about the barfine. Never been offered to me and have always hung on for closing. Is it commonplace?

An the other news is that several bars/cafes on the waterfront are closing for demolition. Ned Kelly's (moving down the street) and David's included.

Interested in your comment about the barfine. Never been offered to me and have always hung on for closing. Is it commonplace?

Common place in those bars I know in Saigon, it is 6 Lady Drinks there. It is long time since I did not regularly patronise Vung Tau. When I was regular in VT there was no such easy way to take a lady away, and this lead to negotiations. More or less difficult depending on situations.

Ah yes - I have done battle with the mamasans and their barfines in Saigon but never come across it in Vung Tau.

Recently found myself in Dien Bien Phu and the adjacent provinces.

There usually are massage places attached next to the hotels where a variety of services are offered, but the massages I received were poorly done. One place I saw, but did not have the time or opportunity to visit, had at least 15 – 20 gals there, several who seemed very cute.

In Dien Bien Phu, a decent looking massage gal at the hotel I was staying tried very hard to persuade me to boom boom or to provide a happy ending. She also offered to meet me in my room at closing time, and stay until 5am, which I found more agreeable. Settled at about $50 us. At the determined time, a different lady than the one who gave me a massage showed up at my room. She asked if it was okay.. And I said yes..

She was cute enough, seemed friendly, and had a nice body. I told her to take a shower and then she climbed into bed.

We had a nice time together. She was completely unshaven and soaking wet. I didn’t feel comfortable with her staying the night, so I thanked her for her time & asked her to leave.

One can have some fun in the hinterland as it seems to be more acceptable there than in the major cities.

I had a short stop in Sapa. It seems it is the end of the road for tourists and backpackers coming from Laos.

There is nothing to do there unless you are into trekking. My hotel cost VND100,000 but I (almost) had to beg for a towel and a soap. The food was very expensive in local standards because I think one or two owners owned most of the restaurants that crater to the tourists. The crowd of tourist is half older couples then, some couples, and I noticed a couple of single European men but looked like they were staying in town.

In a late afternoon, I was walking in the town center, near the park where I heard a man saying “beautiful women” but I kept walking. Then, I heard “cheap, 70,000 Dong” I paused and a Vietnamese man, shorter, with facial hair caught up with me. He asked if I wanted to go with him to see beautiful women, only five minutes walk from there. I told him I would get back to him later.

Later that evening I showed up at the same spot and found him. But he says he must have made a mistake and he really meant 700,000 Dong for a woman. He knew he didn’t have a chance when he saw the look on my face. He said there would be five to seven women to choose from. I kept walking and he walked along side me and I asked him if anyone had fallen for that price before and with very disappointment he said no.

Anyway, the next day I walked for about ten, fifteen minutes from the place I spotted the tout and in the direction he pointed at the night before and I didn’t see or notice any establishment that might resemble a shop. I was able to cover the whole town (didn’t take long) later at night again and did not see anything, any tout, and didn’t notice anything that might give a clue about where to find p*ss*. A very misadventures trip.
