Now, for my own reviews of my success in these places...

Let me start with the winner on the voters' list, the Elephant and wheelbarrow. Like several of the places in the list, it is ,in my view, indeed a great pick-up place *if* one is the kind who can walk up to a girl who's a total stranger and start dancing with her. The music is way too loud to speak, so one needs to be supremely confident with body language.
