To reiterate what Fantasy is saying about Ford, I have had the experience of being very ummmmm controversial on this board and had run in's with just about everyone but I must say that "Ford" has always been how shall I say, the most comfortable person to have a disagreement or conversation with even though we may not have been on the same page. That being said I think Fantasy may be right on about Ford, however I don't know what all the hubub is! What Marzo posted didn't look to bad to me but then again, I ain't Michael!

An earlier poster queried about Club Nowhere in the Zona Colonial (on Hostos). I mentioned thursday nights are ladies night. There is usually a cluster of Dominicanas outside the door by around 10pm, whom the bouncer will not let inside. If you are American the doors open wide for you. Take a few minutes before your approach and pick a girl from the cluster to bring in on your arm. Almost guaranteed she is yours for the night if you want. If she does ditch you, there is so much action upstairs you can replace her.

Thank you Npaul1, Forest, boricuaonline, Helpmann for your help. I cancelled my room there and I booked my room in Mercure Comercial Santo Domingo. I got it for $50 a night. if any one has any info on good places where I could get some good GFE's in SD, will be real helpful

First is this board is NOT only for places to find women for sex or whatever they said. It is for information! Sex being the main topic. Useful information is always good and you never know who wants what where. I have found personally many things besides where to go for sex on this board, I have found many different people and friends and women and sex was not the topic or main concern. As everyone can see there are many different types of people on this board and just because someone says one thing or the other doesn't make it so. The main thing is don't judge others because you don't like what they are saying, just be on your way because the next fool might use that info. Like for instance I have nothing to do with this convo, but I can jump in and give my uneducated mongering opinion seeing as you seem like you were just trying to give out info on something other then sex! Hmmm who knows maybe I was just board, don't know but Marzo do your thing and don't take things personally on this board because they never are. We are all the same, no one better and no one worse, I don't care how many posts you have up!
Now about SD, I went to visit a friend out there and we went to a club and they wouldn't let my black ass in because they thought I was black or dominican or whatever! I thought it was funny and just left and went to another club. I don't remember the name of the club but it was about 10 minutes from the Hilton, and you have to walk up stairs from outside to get in. I was with CS69 so maybe he could help with the name. Anyways we went to another club and spent $500 and partied til they closed at 2am of course then went back to the spot and hung out all night with the chica's I brought up and some we picked up from the club. Needless to say it was a good night!

Ford and I surely don't need mongers like you. We offer our knowledge and help without having to fuck your girlfriend first. Ford and I get numerous p.m.'s every day asking for info. We give the information freely and with excitement to help fellow mongers. If I praise him or he praises me on this board, it might just give a beginner monger the confidence to trust our advice or information. By no means are we looking to benifit in any way from it, and neither of us give a shit if anyone follows our advice. As far as us "having each other", I never remember offering to share my apartment with him or anyone else for that matter. Now, I am returning to the business at hand, finding chicas to love!!! Was out taking a ride last night and found myself in front of Lapsus. (Rain started and I was on a motorcycle). I pulled onto the sidewalk under some trees, debating whether or not I would go in.
I actually ended up in conversation with a guy named Juan who works the door at a place next door called "Cafeteria Aurora". He was a good guy -- brought me a couple of free beers -- and told me the girls in Aurora a worth a visit. There are rooms in back.
In the end, I didnt have the time to check it out, but I may tonight. Anybody been in? If you check it out, definitely ask for Juan.

I am heading to santo domingo on Nov.22 for a week. I will be staying at the hotel la residence on calle danae in Gazcue Santo domingo. Where are some nice dance clubs to go to in the city? I really plan on having a great time. Is anyone here going to be in the city during november? It would be cool to have some fellow mongers to talk to.

Check out Pure on Lincoln for a smaller room, fewer tourists. Hardly any, actually. (And your best bet for tail is to be the only non-Dominican in the club).
Monte Cristo on Churchill, which is usually packed. A bit of an older crowd -- often older married men with their young mistresses.
After hours, try Om in the Colonial Zone on Salome (I think).
Most of these places fill up Thurs-Saturday nights after 11pm or so. The new ordinances have maybe pushed things up a bit. Don't wear ratty jeans or sneakers, though if you look foreign they will let you in no matter what. The Dominicans will wear their finest clothes.
Expect a mix of techno, hiphop, reggaeton, salsa and merengue, depending on the club. Expect it to be very, very loud... so meeting girls involves shouting. Big pluses with the ladies are an ability to dance and an ability to speak spanish. Failing that, be prepared to buy them expensive drinks.
A taxi driver should be able to find any of these places for you, and coming from Danae, dont pay more than 150 pesos -- or 200 pesos if it's late at night and you are grateful for the ride. The drivers may also know of places I dont. Have fun and good luck!
