I can't find info anywhere.[/QUOTE]Although answering your query is now overdue, I just thought it would be useful to give interested fellow mongers an update on action in Sohar Oman, since LE have been active recently especially in cracking down on HCs, the only place I know of is the fili night club in Al Wadi hotel where you can find PRC and fili WGs. Don't have high expectations though.

Would appreciate feedback from others if there are any other places of interest around this dead area.

Back at the Hyatt for a few days, just arrived off a flight slightly the worse for wear. Decided to check out the action in the Safari Bar. Statutory sullen Chinese. About 3 or 4 of them. Nothing to write home about. 3 Africans, all very broad in the beam. One especially so. As they used to say, if she stands still too long they'll build a ring-road. And then a new phenomenon, for me anyway. 4 or 5 Filipinos. All wearing shorts, and that bright smile they have. And they all have the same story. Her having come twice, once under the ministrations of my tongue, other in Doggy, and me. Well I had a great time. She prefers Oman, so might stay there a couple more weeks. But she reckons the chances of proper employment are better in Dubai. When she's in Dubai, she frequents several of the places mentioned on this site. I have both her UAE and Oman numbers. And also to mention, just as I was leaving the bar the previous night a whole delight (that is the collective noun for them) of giggling mini-skirt-clad Thai ladies arrived. There to work, or there to play, I can't say. But very easy on the eye.

just a little update for those traveling or wandering around murep001. live bands are gone from the bars, due the misplaced notion they were bad for tourism. so the music is strictly recorded, with djs at safari (hyatt) and the bar at the intercon.

and the opportunities at safari are really the best they've been in 3 years; there seems to be a higher concentration of ladies, and a slightly better mix, with chinese still predominant, but a few africans and thai / filipina there on the busier nights. on a recent thursday night, just for grins, i made a count: 12 to 15 ladies for sure, and maybe a few semi-pros mixed in who are not so obvious.

I have met one girl so far from Kugli and it works. Yes the pics are fake but the girl was actually the age range stated and was quite attractive. i recently passed by murep001 and visited the safari pub at the grand hyatt for 2 consecutive weekday nights. arriving at 9:30pm the first night, i was a bit surprised about the high number of omani men in the bar, which made approximately 2/3 of all male guests. there were only 5-6 chinese girls at that time, most of them in their 30s and not too attractive. i sat down at a table and was soon approached by a taiwanese girl in her early 30s, who looked ok and appeared nice. we talked for a while and agreed on 80 omr for the whole night plus tips if her performance would be good. her original asking price was 150 omr for the night, which she soon lowered to 100 omr. i was willing to pay 100 eur if she would treat me well and leave around 11-12am as agreed.

back at the hotel, we had a short argument about upfront payments, which i refused. she gave in eventually, and we went down to business. she would not really kiss and bj was only covered, but otherwise performed ok. after the first round, however, she claimed to be tired and told me that she wants to leave early. we had another discussions about overselling and not keeping promises, as she had agreed to several pops and leaving late in the morning. in the morning, we had a rather quick round, which was ok but a bit rushed. i let her go around 9am and gave her 100 omr in total, as i liked her, although i was not 100% satisfied with her performance.

unfortunately, i found none of the asian girls really attractive and even considered leaving, when i was approached by a small girl from the philippines which appeared ok and talkative. she asked for a drink, so we sat down and talked for a while. out of lack of other alternatives, i negotiated to take her home for a full night until noon for 80 omr plus tips. she had originally asked for 100 omr, but quickly accepted 80 omr assuring me that she would make me very happy. she asked for another drink before leaving and then told me a heart-breaking story of her siamese twins back in the philippines, which she loves so much. on the way to the parking place, she started acting stupid and telling me more bullshit about her mother that had died 5 days ago in an accident. i turned around and went back to the bar, leaving her angry and a bit puzzled on the parking site.

i was again approached by that charming african and accepted her finally after she had assured me that several pops and staying in bed until late as no problem at all. she was really nice and we had a lot of fun already in the car on the way to my hotel. we continued talking for a while and then went to business. she really took it slow, gave me a nice bbbj and a good ride. the next morning however, she told me that she hates sex in the morning and that she does not feel like taking it slow. we had a quick fuck which was nice, and i left her with 90 omr.

is it normal that girls in oman do not deliver on their promises? overall my experiences in murep001 were ok, but it cannot compare to my usual experiences in asia performance and price wise.
