Slept terrible and crawled out of bed at 8 AM way too soon. This bed is not conducive to good sleep! Went down for the free breakfast which was OK. The cook did make a pretty good cheese and ham omelet. Nothing else was all that tasty and the offerings are a mix of Asian and western styles but, hey, it is free! I then went back to my room which, again, was hot and humid, to work on this report, and to try to figure out what to do that day.
After breakfast I walked around the local area and along the beach looking for items I might want to buy. Many vendors were pushy, but most were not too bad. I took a short nap during the afternoon then ventured out to Bangla around 7 PM after it was dark. The place was relatively dead, so I went back to my room to take a second nap. I dosed off once or twice, but got up around 10 PM and went back. The place was alive and while there were again plenty of people in the street, many were couples (including couples with children), so many of the smaller bars were nearly empty. I had more girls accost me to get me to go to bar that the previous night, which confirmed my observation that it was a slow night for bar-girl business. Still, I was trying to figure out the scene. Do all the bars with dancing girls offer takeout? I had thought I had done my research, but when all of the bars and the people are suddenly there in front of you, it is overwhelming, and on Day 2 I was still being overwhelmed.
As I walked down the street several ladies out front remembered me from the night before and were friendly. But, rather than go in and waste money on an unsure situation, I had decided that I was going to try out the infamous Suzy Wong 1 and the end of Soi Sea Dragon, which I knew had takeout. I entered it from the North back entrance, not at the Bangla Road entrance, and was immediately accosted by the guys out front, but I allowed them to drag me inside. There were indeed some pretty girls on the stage, two of them topless and one or two were downright beautiful. A lady inside sat me down and I ordered my overpriced glass of seemingly watered down Coke. Three sets of younger guys entered after I did, and each of them was quickly accompanied by girls. Me, I sat alone. I was trying to make some eye contact, but nothing was being returned. One of the supermodel-material girls was dancing and I could not make eye contact with her. And what were the rules here? Do I flag down an attendant and say what girl I want? Do I just sit there and try harder to establish eye contact? And can I get that beautiful girl on stage? It seemed that once the club got my money from me, they were no longer interested. Maybe I was older that the guys that came in after me, but I look fine and there was an abundance of girls, but for me, Suzy Wong's was a complete dud. A shame, as I would have paid big bucks for that one girl! Sigh. OK, maybe I will go back and be more assertive and see if I can get her. That girl is a 10, for sure. But, yeah, when my coke was finished I got up and left. No one cared.
When I left, I was accosted by the folks outside the Devil's Den (did I get that right? Right next door to Suzy Wong's. I let them drag me inside, finding a huge lineup of very attractive girls. I kept looking at one who was sitting next to the stage and an attentive staff member came over and asked if I wanted to talk to her. Sure! This is how Suzy Wong's should have been. Anyway, she came over and her name was Ba, a sweet looking girl with a nice smile. She was thin with long brown hair and long legs, but with a fairly flat chest. A true Asian spinner. Certainly, a very cute 22 year old Thai girl. Her English was not good so we couldn't talk a lot, but I ended up buying her two LDs before the attentive staff member asked if I wanted to bar fine her. The BF there was 800 be (Sheesh) and the girl's rate was the standard 2000 be. Kind of high for 90 minutes, but she was super cute, so OK. Again, why wasn't Suzy Wong's like this?
Back at my once again hot and humid hotel room, we showered and when dry, she started off aggressively with some French kissing with lots of tongue and nipple licking. You know you have been in Phuket too long when the tailors at the beach end of Bangla Road stop harassing you.
Yes, not a single one bothered me on this Friday night, as I guess that finally learned I was not going to buy anything from them. Not that I was not harassed and accosted by many other. As I expected, Friday night brought out a larger crowd on Bangla Road. By 10 PM, it was a busy street, with several cops in attendance to ensure things remained peaceful.
But first, I was walking down the beach in the early afternoon. A woman selling sunglasses approached me. She wanted 1300 be for some polarized sunglasses. I was wearing a cheap pair I had bought for 300 be that wasn't quite fitting me right, but I declined. She asked what I would pay. I said 200. She countered with 1200. I said I really didn't want to buy new ones, which was true. I really didn't. She countered again at 1000. No, lady, I really don't need sunglasses. 800. I started to walk then she finally said 300. I tried the glasses on and they actually fit pretty well! Ok, 300. I gave her my old ones to resell since, as I said, I really didn't want another pair. Lesson here is to haggle, haggle, haggle. Don't be shy. She was screwing me at 1300 be.
Ok back to my story. The girl I had promised a drink with at a bar near the east entrance caught me and I responded by going in. This is the second largest bar on the right side when entering from the east side (closest to the see&and hotel). I don't remember the name, but just past the Hard Rock entrance. She sat me down by a cute dancer dressed in orange, who was dancing up on the elevated stage. Once sitting down and having ordered a Coke, as with other places, I was pretty much there after ignored. I think a dancer in blue tried to get my attention, but I wasn't sure what the different colors signified. I think one color meant the girl was a coyote who was not bar finable, and the other was a regular bar girl who was. The girl in blue was hot, but I didn't want to waste time, and it was still too early to bar fine someone anyway. I was to later find out what the colors meant, but this time, I finished my drink, paid my bill and left. (Edit: I did ask later, and the girls in blue were bar finable. Why sit guys with the coyotes then? Regarding pricing, the girls were 2,000 Bhat for ST, but the bar fine was 1,500 Bhat! I said right there that was too much and walked off, never to return.).
As per my mode of operation, I did my back and forth walking of Bangla. I was eying FLers as well as girls in the bars. It was another hot night and with all the added people and hardly any breeze, the air was often thick with tobacco smoke, stinging my eyes and lungs. Sheesh people. But whatever.
The girl I had played games with the night before stopped me and after a few circuits of the Road I went in with her for my Sprite. She asked for a LD and I obliged, and then she got the game out and we started playing. After a few games she excused herself and had another girl (possibly a LB terrible teeth and a strange voice that didn't sound like a girl) continue playing. She came back a few minutes later and said a guy she knew well was back in town and she had to go to him, and would I mind? Well, sure, it is ok. I mean, I was fine with it, but I didn't want to get stuck with a possible LB. I played did play a few more games and the girl / guy, who whipped my butt. I don't remember the name of the game, but it is a game of strategy and out of probably 8 games with I didn't win a single one. I then excused myself without incident and moved on. I should say that the girl that left me had been one of the nicest girls I had met so I was not upset at her at all. She knew this was my last night and a guy she had known for a long while was back in town so I understand and, unlike some others, she at least asked if I wouldn't mind.
The creature from Laos found me again and tried to latch on. I was polite for a bit, but started walking. She followed me and I sped up, finally leaving her in the dust. Never saw her again, thankfully. Poor creature. But then I had to break through a gauntlet of guys trying to get me to see a sex show. I mean, there are about 8 of them and the line up the width of the road so you can't avoid them. I mean, really, they have people all up and down the road trying to hook you. If one wants to see a sex show, they will find out about it you don't need to accost people all night! Well, maybe I am overly sensitive about this because I walk the Road 10 or more times a night, so I experience it more often.
I was thinking of hitting Suzy Wong 1 again to see if that super model was available for take out, but didn't. I was sure it would be expensive, and I figured I could do as well in Pattaya. For a while, too, I contemplated simply going back to the hotel alone for a night of recovery in anticipation of Pattaya, but didn't really want to go back alone on my last night in Phuket either. The down side of getting old we have to watch our volume levels. Well, actually, I could never climax multiple times over multiple nights. Lucky guys who can.
Anyway, I noted several very attractive FLers near the beach end of the road. I had almost stopped earlier to chat, and probably should have, with this really cute girl. This time, I did stop but somehow ended up with a girl I really had not been eying. The way it went is I walked over, then a girl waved me over and said this other girl, Nat, had been eyeing me for a while. She looked ok, but I had actually wanted to approach this other girl who was more of the spinner type. Nat was more full figured, not a spinner at all, but had a pretty face and long black hair and medium breasts. Her rate was 1500 be for 2 hours, so ok. She seemed sincere and rather calm, and still quite attractive, so I agreed, hoping for more of a GFE.

We washed each other and she asked if I had a condom. They all seem to ask this question. She had brought some in case I didn't have any. I said give me her number and I might call her, which she did. In fact, that was to be my last night in Phuket so I will never see her ever again. Had I seen her on my first night, I might have taken her up on the offer. Well, maybe not. Riding on a bike in Thailand scares the bejesus out of me! These Thai drivers are crazy! I would be terrified the whole time.
To conclude Phuket has been fun, and I hope it will not turn out to be waste of time in that it will prepare me for Pattaya, which I imagine is going to be wild. I really don't know what to expect. To others contemplating visiting Pattaya, at this point I am glad I came down, but until I experience Pattaya, I can't really say if 4 days here for training was worthwile.
Final remarks for Phuket Nubes:
- Hottest women I found were in Soi Sea Dragon at Suzy Wong's and the Devils Den (or Dragons Den or whatever it is called next door). A few 10's to be had, for sure. I sort of wish I had gone back there, at least to check out prices. I sure hope Pattaya can match, as I do want to experience a 10 one more time in my life.
- It was hard for me to determine which bars had take-out, and which girls were available for takeout. It is actually simple, just ask before going in, and ask what the bar fine is, too. I knew I should have been doing this, but didn't until the end. Stupid of me.
- There are some good looking FLers at the beach end of the road across for a crepe place IIRC. More show up after midnight. Some of the girls there are as attractive as the girls in the bars. You might save a 1,000 be or more by shopping there.
- I think walking up and down the road all night was fine, but I may have over done it. It is ok to go into a small bar overlooking the street and sip on a drink for a while to see what is going on. If you want a girl to sit with you, you got to buy LDs (average prices seemed to be 200 B). Don't waste too much money on LDs with a girl you would not want to bar fine. Unless she is entertaining in her own way, like the girl I was playing games with. I may remember her more than the girls I had sex with!
I had 5 girls total. In the normal bars, the girl pricing was 2000 be, with bar fines ranging from 800 be to 1500 be. I really saw no difference in the looks of the girls from one extreme to the other. A few of the FLers were just as good if pick carefully. A three-way for 2,000 be is certainly possible. I kind of lucked out with that one, though.
- The see&and is a great choice as a mongering hotel. I would not want to bring a wife or GF here as the place is a bit dark and dingy, the corridors are hot and grungy, the stairway and elevators hot, and the open shower is a bit pathetic, the bed is like a rock with a blanket or two thrown on top, plus my room, at least, had no drawers to put things away. For a mongering dude, I can live with that and were I to return to Phuket to monger, I would stay here.
- There are money exchange booths all over the place.
- Food is everywhere, too.
- I had a foot massage, but no hint about more being available upstairs or elsewhere. The lady rubbing my feet was not one I would want to have sex with anyway.
